| Ever Use a Doggie Door? We all know about the problems with housebreaking these adorable puppies, and I've tried EVERYTHING with my Bailey. Yesterday, I bought a doggie door. I can't wait to install it so that she will have access to our fenced yard anytime she feels the urge! I hope this does the trick once and for all. I wasn't sure if she would go through the door, so before I cut a big hole in the wall, I took a cardboard box about the size of the doggie door and cut a hole through it the size of the flap. I wedged it in the bedroom door so that she couldn't get into the bedroom without going through the box. It took her a little while and lots of barking, but with me on one side of the box and her on the other, she soon hopped right through it! Training her to use the doggie door should be snap. Anyone else use a doggie door? |

| Yes, we use a doggie door. It was our salvation! Millie was housebroken, but we were having to get up all the time to let her out. We were not sure if she wanted to go out, just because or because she really had to go potty. Plus when she was using the bells to ring to let us know she had to go out, she was ringing them all the time so she could get a treat. It took almost a month to train Millie to use the doggie door. She was afraid of the flap. But once she got the hang of it, it just solidified her housebreaking and was just too convenient for all parties involved!

| Doggie Doors I have 2 doggie doors, the type that fit into your sliding door track. I have 16 dogs and leaving the door open for them to go out, was making our a/c run all the time, so we figured we would try this. Works like a charm we have no problem with all of them using them. I also put one from our screened in lanai to a fenced in dog run for them. Love em! mariayorkie |

| I would love to have one, and I have a fenced in yard, but Otis just LOVES to be outside. He'd probably never come in. He'd be out there all night, hunting and smelling things, and having adventures. Also, we have a neighborhood unneutered lab with irresponsible parents that breaks out of his yard sometimes and jumps over our fences into our backyards. It only happens every once in awhile, but I'd be too worried that my boys may be outside when he decides to come in my backyard.

| We Love Our Dog Door!!! We have one that goes into a little fenced dog yard for the yorkies inside the larger fenced yard. It works great. We have a big Chow/Australian Shepherd that is in the big yard that surrounds it. He's kind of our extra security so no one steals them when they go out there LOL!

| Murphy and Mia love their Dog Door TOO! It will take no time to train your little one to use the Dog Door. Murphy and Mia love having access to the yard. I do lock it off though during the day since I do not want them in the Big yard while I am gone. It scares me since they are so tiny.

| We have a "circle of doors" (3) for them. They can go out of the one in the kitchen door to get to the breezeway and then out the b-way d-door and get to the yard and then in the d-door in the breakfast nook wall. They only use that one in the winter. DH built a "carport" on the outside of it so the snow and wind does not come in. Our resident chipmunk uses the one in the breezeway to get his sunflower seeds and then goes right back out.

| We use one that goes out to an enclosed back porch where i keep his pee pads. Harley and the cats love to go and sit on the porch and watch the birds. The only time i close mine off is at night, but since the porch is enclosed i leave it open all day long.

| Love Them...LOVE THEM!!! I don't know what I would do without it... During the day while we humans are awake and can keep a constant watchful eye on head counts, they go and come as they please. And, the only time that I have it closed off is at night - Which during that time they have their own bathroom with access to a pee pad. With the rise is dog thefts, I just don't trust them being totally unsupervised - Even with a six foot privacy fence and chicken wire. |

| Yep sure do every day! According to Roger my yorkie I use his doggie door every day! Just kidding, No I started using the doggie door with his as a game sitting it on the floor and playing this way for a few weeks, then when hubby installed it on the door, he was jumping in and out it as he was installing it, He has never given us a problem with it at all. I think me and Roger are very happy with the doggie door! Rena |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | We have always used doggies doors. Otherwise, I would spend the entire day: let the dog/s out, let the dog/s in, repeat all day long. I am also too big for the doggie door but once I locked my self out and one of the kids could crawl through the doggie door and opened the front door for me..... |
