| Is Porkhide OK? I just bought my furbaby some porkhide. I read that porkhide is digestible. Is this true? Has anyone else given their Yorkies porkhide without any problems? |

| Hmmmm...I don't know. Have you asked your vet? I often wondered about any pork products (like pig pumpers, feet, etc). If you find out anything please share!

| None of those "hides" are good for dogs, and can actually cause intestinal blockage or choking. JUst give a nice femur or knuckle bone to chew on. |

| Discarded antlers for chew bones I found the greatest bone for Toby. They are discarded antlers, They don't splinter as they are all minerals and flake off like dust. Loaded with real bone marrow they can work for. They are a little pricey. $9.00 for a 6" piece. They will last quite awhile. Toby's been working on his for several weeks now and shows little use. Found them at Bonnie's Barkery in Cave Creek, AZ. Toby's mom |

| Wow! I didn't know that...just plain deer antlers?? Our big dogs had found a deer carcus in the woods and brought us the lovely head. The antlers were all intact....perfect. So, these would be good for Mojo???!!

| Yes, they are great. Finding a whole rack would be a gold mine. When we lived in Nebraska, we always found the carcasses in the fields, nothing like that here in Phoenix. Toby's mom |

| My DH said that he didn't think it was legal to sale stuff from a deer....I know in our state, it is illegal to sale deer meat, etc. (all states are different).BUT people use antlers for everything....home decorating items, etc. I know awhile back, it was illegal to transport wild game across state lines in several states....my uncles hunts out of state alot and ran into problems, but I think that was more of transmitting diseases or something??? Who knows? There are some crazy laws out there (some I am sure for good reasons, and some that I don't know about). Quote:
We have some antlers (from where the big dogs had brought them up from somewhere), we haven't tried it yet. I know my DH said that other animals will eat the antlers too. I know our big dogs love them!
