| Bows & Topknots Little Bit just will not leave a bow in her hair so her hair is all in her eyes & she looks like a small dark sheepdog. When the groomer puts in the rubber band on her topknot, she scratches at it until she gets the top of her head in one big matt. If I put in the scrunchies, she takes them out right away. Will some of you tell me which bows you have had the most luck with. I see that lots of YT sellers have really pretty ones but just wondering which ones stay in best. I ordered the cute little jeweled clips & she had them out & chewed up in no time. I really want to keep her long but I would also like for her to be able to see |

| Hmmmm I use the ones that have the little spring. The ones that you press on the sides to open it up. I don't know what if they have a name. I just always call them barettes. My Holly takes off the rubberband if it's by itself, but I bought some small contour clips (the ones that snap) at the dollar store so I put a rubberband and then I put that little clip just below it. She doesn't mind it that way, I don't know why. Hope that helps.

| You might try using the grooming bands but put them a little higher up. Not so close to her head. I would still start with the band. You can always put the scrunchie over the band. If that works, I agree with Holly_QD, use bows with a barrette, put the band in and slip the barrette between her head and the band. Be sure to take them out at night. Good luck. |

| Try the baby barrettes from the drugstore-the plastic ones that come in animal shapes and little flowers, bows, etc. The name brand "Goody" works better than the store brand-they stay in really well, they are cheap, and they come in huge packs of every color in the rainbow. Someone on here gave me this idea, and it's worked wonders with getting Milli used to having her hair "done". I used these first, since they're so lightweight, and got her used to having something in her hair. I also use these teeny claw clips I got at Target in the baby section, and I twist a little section of her hair and put the clip in. They hold pretty well, and came in several colors. They come in black/brown for the boys too.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | How about Flowers?? My Trixie always did (does) the head rub thing everytime I brush her or touch her head. The puppy flowers I make are flexible and Trixie can't get it out! I tried the baby clips and Trix rubs long enough to get them out

| No problem-steal it if you want I think I've tried all that & she either makes a knot so bad I have to cut it out or has it out on her own. I guess I'll just have to keep trying- Also, now that I have a Maltese puppy too, they pull each other's hair & make it twice as hard to keep them groomed Thanks for all the suggestions, though |
