| Bows for soooooooo low Someone pointed out to me that Pet Edge is great place to get bows ... for $19.00 you can get a canister of 40 bows .... that comes to about 47 cents a bow .... http://www.petedge.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=4962&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainC at=561&iSubCat=1612&iSubSubCat=0&iProductID=4962 here for $14.89 you can get 30 bows ... so about 50 cents each ... http://www.petedge.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=5989&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainC at=561&iSubCat=1612&iSubSubCat=0&iProductID=5989 70 bows for 25$ so 35 cents each ... http://www.petedge.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=5076&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainC at=561&iSubCat=1612&iSubSubCat=0&iProductID=5076 This way you can save a bundle.. (IMO) .. and give them out to your friends as well ... some stores charge $2-6 for each one ... why pay more??? This is quite a savings, and if you and some friends chip in to get a large order you can avoid the 'handling' charge ..... just a suggestion ....

| That's a great deal! I wish I knew someone to share a canister with (or two!). I like taht they are barrettes, but they look like the kind taht you need to have the top knot in an elastic for it to hold....Tia+elastic=frustrated me!

| That IS a deal indeed! Even if some went together on them and had to mail to each other, it would probably be a less than a dollar to mail a bunch of them first class. I've bought some of these same bows at a pet store here for $1 each!

| Petedge also has a canister of 100 bows and assorted colors for $9.99. That's 9 cents a bow. TP48603 and TP48602 |

| Has anyone bought these bows and know what size they are? They don't indicate it on the site or the catalog. |

| Hey.... This brings to mind something I have been wondering... Would anyone be interested in Bent Bows??? When I order these Canisters, I have to do "Quality Control" and a lot of the bows are bent and not suitable for sale. About 40% of them are a loss. I've been tossing them out not knowing what to do with them.... A lot just need the kinks straightened out... But I'm not crafty.. PM me and I'll take the first few addresses and mail them out as they pile up! I have quite a few now.

| Personally, I would rather buy a few bows for a few bucks from YT sellers, than buy a whole canister from some large corporation. Further, I don't need that many bows, so I would be wasting my money. I appreciate you pointing out deals, but I will buy from sellers here way before I will buy from Petedge or anyone else when it comes to small ticket items. I firmly believe in supporting small business when I can............

| I think it's a super deal for 9 cents each for an every day bow. Both my girls came with those little bows in their hair and I kept putting them in their hair every morning. They held up to everything and never wore out. I saved the more expensive ones for when we went places. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I used to use Pet Edge bows for everyday wear..but would rather support people who make them so I'm with Janelle on this one but at the same time - it can get pricey for everyday grooming buying handmade bows. I had ordered a box of 100 way back when I got Chanel 5 years ago & still have some left - what happens when you order in bulk is they get bent out of shape so you do have waste....but for someone new to bowing and with multiple yorkies its a great deal......but I still LOVE the bows that are done by the small sellers..... |

| about the low prices for bows Quote:
The other bows that are being resold from Petedge cost a lot of money for someone else to sort them out ... even if I bought 40 bows for $19 and threw out 30 of them, I'd still be paying less than the price asked on the resale site .... the suggested retail prices of these bows are .99 - 1.49...why would anyone want to pay double, triple, or 5 times the retail price? Homemade bows are special ... If I got the bows from Petedge, I wouldn't worry if the bow fell out since it would only have cost me less than 50 cents in most cases. However, if I got the same Petedge bow and paid a 550% markup, I WOULD care if the bow fell out. And no one can guarantee it won't. That would be kinda like spending more money for someone to sort out the green M&Ms because I didn't like them ..... When I posted the low prices of Petedge's bows, I was not directing it at any YT site at all ... I am surprised anyone responded as they did. I was alerting members to a low price.
