I have a Fido Float life jacket for Memphis. Actually 2, one is smaller then the other cause the little porker grew out of it. But that is fine cause I will just use the smaller one for Preslee when she is big enough for it. My boyfriend also has a Fido Float for his dog who is large. I bought mine at Petco. I like it cause it has a handle on the top of it so I can lift him right out of the water when he is ready to come out. I can't remember what I paid for them though.

| I know there is a page posted on the RIP thread about a dog who had an accident and drowned over the weekend.. The owner made a memorial page and I think there might be links to some life jacket sites!! I am not sure if I am allowed to post the link but if you go to the RIP section, its under Misty!! Good luck

yup that is the one. Memphis took a little getting used to it but now he loves it. He spends a few hours at a time in it and doesn't have a problem.

Cap'n Hef has the same one and they really do need to practice in it because it is so cumbersome and hard to swim in. I posted a picture a week or so ago of Hefner in his under the Products forum. I don't know if there is another company that makes them or not. If someone fnds out, let us know. I would like to try a different one and see if it's any better.

I haven't had any trouble with Memphis in his. But I bought his in the winter time and made him wear it around home quite a bit before we even tried the water.. I dont make him swim in it. If I am going to get off the boat and spend some time in the water when i can watch him I take it off since it is hard to swim in somewhat. But when we are just relaxing on the boat he has it on, just in case he were to fall off. At least then I know that he will float.

The third one seems pretty good. Says that it doesn't restrict the dogs movement. I would be interesting in checking that one out too.
