| help me find a... CARRIER! I have looked through 40 pages on e-bay for a carrier. I have looked on several web sites. If I find one I like, it isn't big enough or costs waaaayyyy too much. I need one that is at least 16" long. I want a casual one - I'm not into "glitz" or all the designers. (sorry ) It has to be an incognito, more of a purse style. Well, I have to clarify that - I do have 2 designer bags..... one is too small for Kaya now and the other is the one I use for her and it is a fancy one that I love but would like something a little more laid back for different outings. She is thin and long so she doesn't fit into the smaller bags. Does anyone know where else I can look??????? I don't like the big bulky ones that look like dog carriers or the barrel shaped ones. Geez, I'm not too fussy am I. No wonder I'm having a hard time finding one. Thanks |

| I have a bunch of different carriers! I could take pictures of them and show you what they are like if you want to see them. What's your price range for a bag if you don't mind my asking? If you want to PM me and let me know I might be able to point you in the right direction |

| The only one I found that's long enough without being a structured one, like the Celtei, is the hobo bag by New York Dog. The only drawback is that the bag itself is heavy and then putting a 10lb dog in it doesn't help. I have a picture if you can't find one. I made a sling carrier for Sammy. You could make something like that any color and if you make it right it just looks like a messenger bag... Would something like that work? I would send you a picture if you'd like. It only cost about $15 for the fabric and took me about 3-4 hours to make. I have no sewing abilities either. I can make pillows and hem pants if it's a straight stitch. If you have access to a sewing machine that might be an option?

Thanks! Where did you get the hobo bag? I tried a search on the web for New York Dog and didn't come up with anything... I do have a pouch carrier but it is not enclosed - I need something to take her into stores and such.

| carrier I have one that may work. I have only used it once and Ciera just doesn't like carriers. It is pretty casual. Let me know what you think.

| What about "The Bag". I just bought one yesterday in the brown at a local boutique. I LOVE it , you don't even know it is a carrier, looks just like a purse. I know Shana and Kathryn V carry it on their site. I didn't know what your price range was, this one is a little pricey, but so worth it. http://tinkerbellscloset.com/items/c...ier-detail.htm http://www.beyondspoiled.com/index.a...TS&Category=12

I love that bag. I have wanted one so badly, but it is not tall enough. My Kaya would be squished in it. I love that style and the brown color.

| How much does Kaya weigh? Have you tried her in one of those bags, she might fit?
