| Missing Link question, please help!! Hi everyone, I just bought some missing link for my three furbabies. I mostly wanted this stuff for Trixie cause she has flakes and my peke Snoot itches a good bit. Pia seems a little dry lately but I think its due to the weather. Anyways, I plan to give all of them it but I'm little concerned on the amount to give. It says one tsp. for 0-20 lbs and I think the 1 tsb would be fine for my peke but it seems too much for the girls. Trixie weighs 5 lbs. and Pia weighs 2 lbs. Does anyone happen to have advice on how I should give them? I don't wanna cause them harm so your oppinions are really appreciated. Thank you so much

| Based on experience.....start by only sprinkling a tiny bit on their food. If you give them too much, you'll know it as their tummies will be upset. I just take a pinch between my fingers and sprinkle that on Jaxon's dry food once or twice a week.

Thanks, do you currently give Jaxon the full tsp.? I kinda figured to start with a small amount but wasn't sure if giving a full tsp in time to come would still be too much. Thanks again

| I put my Missing Link in a Spice Bottle with a "shaker lid" and sprinkle it over the top of their food like I was using a heavy hand with the salt and pepper |

I started my girls on just a pinch a day and worked my way up to about 1/3 tsp. per day each. It should be given every day, if you skip days then their system can't really get used to it. It's very high in fiber so it can cause bad gas if given too much too fast. I used to use flaxseed for myself (it's the main ingredient in ML) and if I skipped a day, or accidentally ate too much of it (I put it in some muffins, and ate too many ), I got the most horrid painful gas P U! It can take a while to see any results so be patient. Some of the furkids here itched more with it, so watch for that as well.

| I really depends on how sensitive your dogd tummy is. I started one off real slow like but the rest were just BAM! here it is!!!lol I read from another member that they were giving it as a treat mixed in plain yogart! Boy what a treat it is!!! I'm a total convert! My dogs eat !))% dry food, dry snacks, and dry everythings! But this little taste of heaven... only a small little bit is soooooo good for them! and the gobble it right up! Best thing I can be doing for them.. its tied with the teeth cleaning I do every day.
