I Love Thor Donating Member | Toy/Feeder? Anyone have any clue about the dog feeder, that's actually a toy? The point of it is to keep the dog distracted, as they have to work for their food. I don't have any clue what this product is called. I'm so desperate for things to keep Thor entertained for as long as possible! Thanks! |

Buster Cube? Are you describing a Buster Cube? I bought one for Emma after a recommendation from a friend. She LOVES this toy, and we use it every day. It's a hard plastic cube with a hole in it, and you put food or treats in there. In order to get the food out, they have to roll it around and figure out how to get the food out. After they get the hang of it you can make it harder by changing the amount the cube will dispense at a time-I think there are 3-5 levels. Also, larger pieces of food are harder to get out than the small ones. They have 2 sizes-make sure you buy the smaller of the two for a yorkie. I bought mine at either Petco or Petsmart (can't remember which) for about $15.

Here is a link to it at Petsmart: http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...N=2026219&Ne=2 (you might have to copy and paste that into your browser window) And-they're offering free shipping if you spend $50. Not too hard to do with yorkies in the house!

Hey, I totally understand!!! We're about to close on a house-so we're trying to scrimp and save too...but, I ordered from PetSmart with a friend, and only bought the "Essentials". Maybe you could place an order with a friend or two, just to get the free shipping? If you're getting food, pee pads, and bones, then it adds up fast, and you always know you'll use it up eventually. The prices are pretty good, especially with the bigger packages of stuff.

I use the toy call "Talk to Me treat ball" from PetSmart. Do the search since the link is so long that I didn't want to cut&past here.... Momiji chase the ball and try to get the treat inside for a while. But Momiji has very short attention span so she gets board easily.... But I think it is a fun toy with good price!!!
