| So far we've only tried the apple torte, but you'd have thought it was the best thing she'd ever eaten. She just gobbled it up!

| So far, Mojo (and the other dogs) LOVE all the flavors. The big dogs get the whole can, whereas, Mojo only gets a little bit at a time (senstive tummy). He hasn't had a problem w/ them and he gobbles what I give him up!!! LOVE THESE!!!! ---and they are sooo cheap too! AND not to mention healthy!

| Serving size question How much of a can should the dog get at once? It says on it 100 calories per serving but so is it one can - 100 calories? My pup's 5 months and between 3 1/2 and 4 lbs, I was breaking the can into 3 portions or so... Can he have the whole thing??

| I got mine at PetsMart for .63-.67 cents each. I am sure they carry them at other stores too (never have looked though). I have heard of others on here that give the whole can to their dogs...I don't see where it would hurt.....it might be a trial and error thing....where you have to see what their tummies can handle. Every doggy is different. I know Mojo has a very sensitive tummy and is a picky eater, so that is why I only give him alittle at a time. I haven't tried the full can, but then, I probably won't because he doesn't eat much anyway. I just give him about a spoonful every now and then, cover the rest in the fridge or put Luke's pill in there and give the rest to him.

| The most I give mine is a spoonful. The first time, I split the can between them and gave it to them each on separate plates. They loved it so much that they both inhaled it (it was gone within 10 seconds). Wesley was fine (he's 10 pounds), but Maddie (she's 6.5 pounds) ended up throwing hers up a couple of minutes later. I had to pick it up quick before she tried to re-eat it. I know, totally gross. So now I only give them a spoonful each. I let them lick the spoon, then I hold it back for a couple of seconds, then give them another lick, etc... so they can't eat it so fast. Plus it makes the can last a little longer. |
