| Preparing for my new furbaby :) Hi guys! I am in need of some direction here! I'm going to pick up my new baby on Saturday. He's just a little guy, 20 months old and only 4 pounds. I'm looking to get some clothes for him, specifically a nice warm coat! I was thinking a nice fleece one would be nice, preferably in a boy color. If anyone on here makes yorkie clothes or knows of a place where I can find some awesome stuff for a good price please let me know! I'm also looking into getting a carrier and was wondering if anyone had any of theses: http://www.trixieandpeanut.com/travel/m13444.html http://tinkerbellscloset.com/Browse_...arrier_-_Black http://www.trixieandpeanut.com/travel/135549.html and what they thought about them? I'm looking for one I could take with me into like Target and stuff when I need to grab a few groceries as this little guy doesn't like to be left alone. Any info would be wonderful!! Thanks so much! |

| The second carrier got RAVE reviews from another member here in this thread http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...highlight=hobo It's a really cut bag, and great for sneaking these little guys around. The other two bags are cute too, but if you're looking for something that is discreet, watch for lighter colored bags with mesh panel sides - dead giveaway that you've got a dog with you. Darker colors hide the mesh better. That hobo bag is mesh up near the top towards the handles, but apparently you can't see through it easily. petedge.com has super cheap supplies (including clothes). They charge a processing fee for orders under $60 I think, but even with the processing fee, it's still a great deal. I've found you just have to be fast on there though - I was on there last night, taking my time..filling up my cart... when I finally got around to checking out, 3 of the things I had wanted were listed as out of stock! I was so disappointed... But anyways - it's a good site to check out.

| He's a doll! Aw, this little guy is a gem! Such a sweetie! He didn't park or complain once on the ride home and has been absoultely perfect! He isn't potty trained or pad trained even thoug he's almost two so I'm starting the training with that. He's done really well and hasn't made a mess in the house or in his crate or pen once! One thing that does bother me a little bit, and maybe some of you "older furmoms" can assure me here. He doesn't seem to be going to the bathroom as much as I think he should be. I take him out in the morning and he goes and after I feed him in the morning and he goes but after that it seems like he doesn't go all day, and then just a little in the evening after he eats. Is this normal? Also, how much should a 2 year old 4 pound yorkie drink a day? I keep being worried that he's not getting enough water even though I see him drinking it just doesn't seem like a lot. Any help would be wonderful! I've posted pictures below |

| Thanks for the link! Thanks for the link! I'm thinking about getting one of those, I had him a blue hoodie for the ride home and he seemed to love it with the exception that it was a little bit too big! So, I think a smaller fleece would be just perfect Thanks for the lin! Your babies are gorgeous! |
