| HELP PLEASE!!! - I don't know how to attach the Lookout I Can someone please tell me how you keep the Lookout I in place? I have bucket seats, and the seatbelt over that little back flap doesn't seem like it would hold the seat in place in case of an accident. Is it safe? Am I doing it right? Max is harnessed onto the harness they provide, which I attach to the seatbelt. That seems to work, but only in the front. He manages to get out of the lookout when it's on the back seat. (He also wiggled out of his little harness). I'll have to keep him in the front with the windows tightly closed until he gets used to it. I dont mind that as much as the fact that the whole seat doesn't seem securely held by the seatbelts. Thanks for your help. Judy |

| I have all kinds of problems with our car seat too. And I agree it doesn’t seem like they’re secured at all by the seatbelt. I called the manufacturer of Ginger’s seat and they told me the lookout is not what’s supposed to keep them safe, that the harness is. That the lookout, is just that, something that props them up so they can look out. It’s not like a child’s seat at all.

| I don't feel so stupid now Dear Liz: THANK YOU!!! I felt like an idiot. Everybody raves about the Lookout and I wasn't getting it. I'm going to try and find their safety harness, or one that Max can't wiggle out of. Again, thank you. Judy |

| I have the lookout also , a single one and the 1 1/2 one so Rosi and Poli fit in it. Well Poli is not use to it and wants to jump, even though i have the harness fairly short he will still try to get to Rosi. Had to pull over the other day to put him back in. When i put them in the same seat then Poli wants to play and Rosi gets mad. Gonna get in a wreck its aways when we first get in the Truck and go wherever we go, on the way home they are as good as gold together and sleep

| I tried something new today with the seatbelts. I was able to pull the shoulder harness our far enough to fit over the whole Lookout and go under the botom. The waist belt is still inside the flap and the whole seat feels a LOT more secure. Of course, Max wasn't with me so I don't know what he'll make of the shoulder harness. I'm still going to have to get a better harness. I should have bought a really good harness which attaches to the seatbelts, and just seat belted a couple of pillows in the car to raise him up. I would have saved a lot of money and trouble. I really shouldn't complain about the money I spent on Max's comfy little car seat because I just bought a coach collar and leash on e-Bay for a really good price - that's for me - what does he care what kind of leash he's wearing? I'm just annoyed because I have my grandaughter's old car seat which I could have rigged up for him. Those are built for safety. Judy |
