| look at this hobo bag Ugh! I have an addiction to buying bags. I've had it my whole life...but since I got Sparks...it's worse. i want him to be comfortable...well my first celltei...awesome...but he is so cramped in there if I have to close it...now that he's grown so much...but a good bag if he can have his head poking out on a daily errand. 2nd celtei bag...great bag...I got a small and just wish it had a little more length to it and a little more height. The medium is way too bulky. I still feel though...maybe he'd be a little cramped if I had him in there for a couple hours...but dont' know if I am being overly protective because he has come to love the bag. Now goes in on his own...For now...this will have to be the bag we use if he has to stay in for a while. Still...I got the back pac o pet and it isn't the type of bag that looks fashionable while going in stores. So I ran across this bag from target: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html...sin=B000EFIN1E It is a little more purse like compared to my celltei back pak o pet. I LOVE the height. Sparks can sit up full height (he's got long legs) and be comfortable. He can stand and I love the vents. Plenty of air...comfort...and I can even close a flap for additional hiding. Best of all...it looks like an oversize purse type bag...more sporty...but that is now I am. Ugh...stop me from buying more stuff for my yorkie!!! Perfect for hiding. Cool and comfortable for himn and stylish for me. Ha! In the future I think I am going to custom make a pak o pet to make it more roomy for when I go to work (if I have to hide him for a long time). suz |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I understand your addiction to bags, I can't help myself. Most of the pet carrier bags are so oversized for my frame, I end up looking like I have my carry-on luggage over my shoulder. I found a large canvas bag (cheap) and am going to try to modify it and make a scaled down carrier. Ruby is tiny and for a quick run for milk, something smaller would be okay. I'll let you know how it turns out. I bought one from Target and I like it, but I feel like I'm carrying a piece of luggage. I like the one you found, it does resemble a purse more than others I've seen. This gives me an excuse to keep shopping, darn! I've been told Gordman's has them sometimes, so I may check there again.

| me too! I'm 5'1" and know EXACTLY how you feel. I don't even feel comfortable carrying a big purse let alone a dog carrier disguised as a purse and I have to have the one to go across my body. BAD back and neck and big yorkie. Anyways, the back pack o pet...great...but I look like I'm carrying luggage into the stores (good for going to work because everyone has skating and exercise bags so it doesn't look out of place). The xs pac o pet...better...but so squished for Sparks..but okay for 5 minute hides. This one...SO comfortable. I know he will love it so I'll use this even for my quick jaunts. suz |
