| Help! Lola's always been kind of a fickle dog, but any change in her routine, turns her into a nightmare. Anytime she goes to the vet, she stops eating. At least for a few days. Well, this weekend, we left her with my boyfriend's parents. They have a miniature schnauzer and a maltese/yorkie mix. She has been around them before and loves to play with the miniature schnauzer. Well, Sunday when we went to pick her up, she was acting a little strange. A little calmer. When we got home, she slept and slept. This is common when she plays with other dogs. Anyway, for the last few days she has not been eating right and she is doing weird things with her food. She will carry a piece of meat or chicken into a room and try to hide it like a bone. She goes through an entire neurotic process of trying to hide it and bury it. I take it away and then she goes and gets another piece. She is also tearing up her potty pads. Something she hasn't done in months. Does anyone have any advice. We don't leave her that often, but she has to be alone at least part of everyday.
