bought celltei carrier and LOVE it:  Well, I've been looking for a carrier since last august when I started researching breeders and buying pet supplies. I got this one: http://www.catsplay.com/ani_287.php3 and hate it. The sides collapse, it is bulky, the straps are very thick and fall off my shoulder, and it looks like a big piece of luggage on me, I ordered peach but it looks like pink, and I would never shop at this store again. I am VERY small frame person and these bags look huge on me. To return it, would cost me so much that I decided to keep it or sell it on ebay. It has not been used. I swore I would never buy another carrier online and have searched stores for a "sneak" one that I liked. People kept mentioning Celltei and I spent a ton of time agonizing and questioning and reading posts. I was going to get the tote-a-pet but I wanted a strap and not just handles. I decided on the pac-o-pet because they said that people were "surprised to find a dog in there". I did get a small as the peple I talked to recommended it...and am nervous that he will grow out of it. He will be 5lbs full grown. My last yorkie was 15lbs so it is hard for me to realize that these guys are smaller. When I visited the litter I was surprised at the small size and the breeder was like "you saw pictures"...but I am still not good with estimating becuase of the new smaller size dog. Anyways...yes I'm getting to my point. Recieved the carrier today. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!! Very easily could hide a dog in here. VERY VERY VERY attractive. Not too bulky. Looks good on me. I love everything about it. If it wasn't for some discussions on here about it...i woudlnt' have tried to purchase another one. This is the one I bought: http://www.celltei.com/basicpakopet.html I got the small dark grey. I didn't want black because I worry about it getting too hot in the summer if we are walking around, but I liked the material better then the blue one. Looked more "purse like". suzie

| Once you go Celltei, you'll never go back! The quality is just amazing! Worth every penny! I am looking at getting another now that I have two girls... I think I need two cellteis.... well, thats what I am telling Hubby! I have the active pet on the go.... I want one of the Purse looking ones... I think its the pack o pet line??? not sure... I keep checking back with the site to see if they have any new fabrics... the new leather and velvet are way too hat for my neck of the woods... well, desert that is. If anyone else is thinking of getting one.... DO! Here is a picture of my sweet hubby wearing mine at the airport with Pixie in it! This is the Small... Pix would have been fine in an XS... I could put both of my girls in the Small and they would do just fine....

Can you tell me??? Can anyone tell me or give me an idea up to what size dog will fit into the small basic celltei? I am in the process of ordering one but want to be sure of the size. Also where does one get the ice/heat pads they are referring to? Thanks for a speedy reply. I am anxious to send off my order. Jamie

I bought the small because they are pricey and Dezi will be growing. What I did for now is I put a cloth bed in it and she loves it. I believe you can fit up to 6 pounds in the small. I looked at them at a store by my house and then ordered it on line (must cheaper).

I got a small for a 5lb dog On their website where it says "how to choose", it says the pac-o-pet can fit up to 4.5 for a small or possibly larger. When I told the company (emailed them to help me choose) that my dog would be 5lbs full grown, they said the small would be plenty big enough. I don't have my dog yet so I can't tell you if it is or not but I am so happy I chose the pac-o-pet. Looks like a purse but very comfy to carry and have him in. I would also like to know where you get the heat packs and cold packs for this. suzie

They apparently don't sell anything specifically made for that purpose (h/c pads) bummer. I placed my order and went with the small going by the suggested sizing chart I found on teir site. I hope it will be ok.

I went with the small too based on this I found in the "NOTES" section of how to choose: Comfortably for 6 lbs. (2.7kg) or less; possibly up to 8 to 10 lbs. (2.6 to 4.5kg); first developed for toy size yorkie Last edited by Ivy Lucille; 03-28-2006 at 06:25 AM.

Wow, 18 inches! That's good to know about the size. I debated between the med and the small. I went with the small. Mayzie is 17 weeks/ 4 lbs. I think it will be ok. She won't be in it for too long anytime she is in it. It just cost so much that I hope it is right.

Wow! I ordered yesterday and it's here today! This carrier is so nice! I got the small gray pack-o-pet. The quality is excellent. I just have one Q if anybody knows. I also ordered the carseat strap. My carrier has loops for it, now here is the dumb part--how do I hook it in the car??? Thanks, Jamie

I just bought Princessyorkie's petite celltei and I cannot wait to have it. It will be for Nika as Tiger is way too big for a petite celltei.

| Here are some pics of the small I took some pics of the small for you guys! One with them both standing up and one with them laying down so you can see how much room they really do have in there! They are both three pounds, so its 6 pounds of Yorkie in there! Rolling around playing and fighting over the same Bully Stick! Cause Two is never the answer.... No they always want the same one! They have more than enough room to turn around and look out all of the sides. They both curl up and go to sleep in it too... They love it! Last night I took it to my daughters softball game and boy was it windy and cold.... They both were very happy to crawl inside their celltei for shelter! They spent most of the game in there! They love it! I also had to post a pic of my softball superstar Katie! It will give you an idea of the kind of wind we get here in the desert! Yikes!
