| Has anyone used CC Silk Spirits or their brushes? I want to buy some stuff from the CC website and I was wondering if anyone has tried the Silk Spirits & if they liked it. Also, anyone bought any of their brushes - I did their "tip test" and my brush is a piece of crap - my arm hurt for 5 minutes! Any feedback would be great!

| I just ordered stuff from them and I got in two days. I am going to try the things tomorrow. I didn't get the silk product because I already have some by bio-silk. I ordered the Day to Day shampoo, Conditioner, Ice Ice and some dry shampoo. I will let you know how I like it. oh- I assume you mean Chris Christensen? |

| I have the Ice on Ice and I like it. The day to day is nice but I am liking the Plush Puppy as well.

| There brushes are AMAZING!! Definitely worth every penny & more! They have changed our grooming life in this house and I would totally recommend them 110%, you WONT be dissapointed. I have never seen brushes like these. This is what we have: http://www.chrissystems.com/slickers.htm Mark II slicker, I used on Rocky & the maltese, Haley I dont seem to use it that much and if youre growing their coat I wouldnt recommend a slicker. All of mine have short hair and its great for mats etc. http://www.chrissystems.com/slickers.htm We have the 20 mm obong brush that is awesome, the pins do not scratch and its the best brush, I definitely think the 27mm is too big for any dog under 10 lbs, but that is just me. I use this on all 3 of mine, a lot of ppl I know have the gold series, I got it for a friend for xmas who has her yorkies in long coats and she loves it also. http://www.chrissystems.com/combs.htm The combs are a must have, for now we have the buttercomb #000 and its the best, I love both sides and used both sides. Eventually I will get a few more combs. There brushes are awesome IMO and I have never known anyone to be dissapointed. I havent used the silk spirits, but have heard mixed reviews, Some people like it and some dont. Just like with shampoo & conditioner, to each his own and different hair textures will produce different results. |

| Wow Brooke thanks for the review. I have just ordered both the slicker (for Cloey cause she Mats like crazy as well) and the oblong brush for Ginger. I'm so excited I can't wait till they come in the mail so I can use them already! |

| After reading about that brush test.... I think i may need to invest in some of these brushes.... with as much as I brush Pixie..... she has started to get dry skin... I thought it was the shampoo being too strong, maybe its the freaking brush? I'm doing the test tonight! Geezzzzz. What next? I'm so glad we have each other to watch out for all of this little stuff.... where would we be without this internet thing? I would love to hear some reviews from anyone who uses them. Also.... What type of brush should I be using to brush her out each day? I only use the slicker on her feey and legs if she has a matt, whick is almost never, and I use a oval pin brush for her body. its pins in a rubber domed pad with a handle. I don't use a comb. Any recomendations? I do plan to keep her coat long.

| I swear by their brushes and combs. The #006 Buttercomb is my favorite. It's small enough to use around their eyes and get the crusties out and it also is fantastic for matting. I've used everything for matts and nothing works better than the buttercombs. And I also love their Clarifying shampoo. I even use it on my own hair whenever it starts to look a little dull and it really brings the shine and color out.
