| New Dresses for Your Yorkie - Opinions Needed Hi guys, I am new to the forum and I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself and get some opinions. I have loved yorkies for a long time and decided to create a line of dresses for yorkies (and other small breeds) and I really need some opinions from other yorkie owners. I am not trying to create a cheesy sales pitch, just looking for opinions. Yes, I do own a commercial site that sales dog clothes and accessories, but I am looking for opinions on the dog dress that I have designed and created. The line is called Di'Ogees and the people who have bought the dresses so far have had nothing but good things to say about them. Here is the link to the dress page, and I want to thank everyone in advance for their honest opinions. http://joncopets.com/dog_dresses.asp |

| Very cute, but they look like they are more for a real child than a dog, no offense yorkie lovers, but they look like little girls dresses and the prices are very high. |

| I think they are beautiful! Nicely done, but I agree with the expense part. I know you've used high quality materials and that does cost more, but I have made my dogs dresses very similar to these for under $5.00 (for materials) because it only takes about a 1/2 yard of fabric. Do they sell well? Depending on your demographic, they could. I think you could sell more to the everyday people by charging about $25.00-I would definetely buy one for that.

| Thank You Everyone for the Honesty... Thank you everyone for the honest opinions. The prices are high, but they are much cheaper than I have seen on other sites for clothing that is made in Pakistan at much lower standards. Each of the Di'Ogees dresses are hand made and this raises production costs, the material is nothing, it’s the labor that costs so much. I can run a business but Ill admit, I cant sew I may have a chat with my seamstresses and see what I can negotiate . They sell surprisingly well, most of our sales have been to consumers in California, NY, and Florida. I think the Demographics do play a large roll. Thank you for the opinions, keep them coming! |

| GOOD GOOGLY... VERY EXPENSIVE...... and I'm sorry but to be so high and then charge such HIGH shipping rates is unfathomable for me. One dress was $7.25 shipping and 2 dresses was $13.35 to send in United States

| I love your dresses!! They are gorgeous and I appreciate the time that goes into each one. While it is true that they are expensive, I don't think they are out of line for what I have seen other retail lines for dogs going for, and I personally love the little extra embellishments I see you add as well as the styles...I am a sucker for thw fifties!! I love the Peggy Lee in the black and the pink. I think you are right about the demographics. I live in California and the doggie boutiques out here charge in this price range and higher for well made, well designed, quality dog clothes. I love your site!! Keep up the good work. |

| The shipping problem was my fault, I have adjusted the shipping prices accordingly though. Keep the responses coming, they are greatly appreciated. |
