| Best flea medicine? I just found the first flea my dog has ever had...he is almost 2 yrs old. Now I'm having anxiety...(ok not really but close to it) I'm so afraid that my apartment will become infested...i have never experienced fleas but I hear all it takes is one to cause an infestnation. I have used frontline in the past just as a precaution, and have never had any problems with it but not sure if its only because he was never exposed to fleas. Now that I actually found one on him I called the vet and they recommended nexgard...has anyone used this before? Also..,what else can I do to get rid of any fleas that may be lurking in carpet and furniture. As it ia I vacuum almost daily and just had my carpet steam cleaned 5 days ago before I even knew he had fleas. |

| I give mine Nexgard every month. I have never had a problem at all. Just make sure you give it with food so he doesn't get an upset tummy. When you vacuum make sure you take out the bag or dump the the stuff vacuummed up in a bag and take it out side and put in garbage.
