| Help with treats!!!!!!!! Hi, my yorkie, Kingsley, is sad. The only treat he eats, Charlie Bear's natural treats is no longer being carried at petsmart. That was the last place I could find the treats in fayetteville ar. They were the only treats he would eat. Infact he would go crazy ove them so much I calledthem crack treats. Anyway he likes the Bil-jab farmer's bounty chicken and sweet potato chicken slices. But it's 4oz for 3.39... Being a college student I need more treats for let price. Charlee bear had the right ratio of price and treats... But anyway. I need help. Does anyone know anything about treats I could try? |

| I see that Chewy.com carries Charlee Bears. Maybe you could order from them. A lot of people here order their dog food from them. My vets have always recommended Charlee Bears because of their low calorie content. Some people have used Cheerios as a treat and their dogs love them. I think they use the original ones, not sugar coated ones. Welcome to Yorkie Talk. Good to have you here!

| What kind of treats are good for Yorkies? What kind of vegetables and fruits can I give my Dog Buddy, instead of store bought treats that are fattening? |

| My girl loves all fruit, Apple's (no skin or core), strawberries, blueberries, banana, oranges, pineapple. I only give a few bites at a time. No grapes or raisons, you probably already know this. She also likes green beans (I use canned ones but I rinse them first) but you can also use frozen, and peas and cooked carrots. A lot of Yorkie's love munching raw carrots but mine don't like them raw. I wish they did because I think it would be good for helping clean their teeth.

| Treats Thanks Doodlebug. What kind of peas? I'm guilty for giving my Buddy several treats a day, and I think he's overweight now. I feel sooo-guilty. I told my husband there's got to be something else we can give him that's healthy. When you speak of fruit, are these just fresh blueberrys and strawberrys? Do I just cut them up, and give them to him? Thank you for your advise. |

I use any canned peas I have. They like those baby peas. You can use frozen too, they are probably healthier, but mine seem to like canned better.
