| Dremel 7300-PT for nails I've never had a problem with cutting nails with any pet. But Chloe is not just any pet....LOL She hates nail clippers the guillotine and the scissors types she moves around so much and I'm afraid I might cut the quick. She also hates the loud sound my corded Dremel makes (now I still love my corded Dremel I've had it now for 5 years and use it on my other dog and no problems with it, just that it is to loud for Chloe.) I just purchased a new Dremel it's the 7300-PT 4.8V model. It's runs off a battery which you plug in and charge. Has 2 speeds low and high. The high speed is very powerful but a little to loud for her but the low speed is perfect. The low speed is also powerful. It also feels very comfortable in your hand when holding and using it. Chloe was a little nervous at first (I think she knew what was coming) but because it didn't make a lot of noise she was calmer than what she normally is when nail cutting time comes. (I usually have to have someone help me in holding her down this time I was able to do her myself) I did her nails in less than 5 mins. I have tried just about every battery nail trimmer they sell. This Dremel 7300 is the best!! I purchased it off of Amazon for $24. It will pay for itself two times using it. The only fault I can find with this Dremel like my corded one they don't have a nail guard, so you have a make sure you hold the hair back around the nail or it will get caught and entangled in the tool. |

| I read somewhere to put a nylon over the paw and stick the nail through the nylon. The nail sticks out but the hair doesn't.
