| Anyone have the large size PetGear carseat? Does anyone have the large size Pet Gear booster car seat? Anyone have it for just one dog? I have the medium for ZoE and she does fine in it running around town, as she usually sits up & puts her front paws on the side to look out the window. I went with the medium as it would just fit in the car I had at the time (2 small rear bucket seats, so no 3rd seat belt). I've since bought a new car with different colour interior, so I was thinking about buying a new car seat to coordinate with it. Then I got thinking, and wasn't sure if I should go with the larger seat, now that I have room for it, so ZoE could really stretch out on long trips. She's a big yorkie, just under 10lbs, and she's long & tall. Any thoughts?

| I have a large Pet Gear booster. My pups are 7-8 pounds. They both fit in the booster together. But when I bring one of them out with me & leave the other at home, they are so much more comfortable riding solo. In fact, I actually use 2 boosters now because it's such a big difference. One pup has a good amount of room to move around & enough space to lie down. I say go for it! Zoe will love it

| I drive a Suburban & this is the best photo I could find of the seat in my car. IMG_2147 600.jpg If I'm only using one booster, I keep it in the front seat. It does fill up the seat, but it's not wide enough to use the middle seatbelt latch in the back seat..it wouldn't secure to the seat in properly. If I have 2 boosters in the backseat, my 9 year old son can still sit comfortably between them. Yoshi (Yorkie) is 7 pounds. Momo (Morkie) is 8 pounds. You can't really tell in the photo, but Yoshi's left foot is actually a little past the center of the booster. Momo always has to be right next to me so she's squished over to my side. There's no way that both of the could lie down in the booster together (unless they were on top of each other). But one could take a comfortable nap with a little blanket. Hope that helps. I couldn't find a pic of just one of my pups in the booster.

| Cute pic of Yoshi and Momo! I have the large Pet Gear booster. My boys are almost 9 pounds. I bought the seat before we had Teddy, and Max loved the size. Like Teresa's babies, mine are happy together or solo in it. I also agree with Teresa that the large is great for one to lie down in. I drive a small VW Jetta and I could fit the booster seat in my front seat if I wanted to. We keep ours in the middle of the backseat with the center seat belt. I say go for the large -- ZoE will appreciate the extra room.

Zo loves the firm sides of the Pet Gear seat, so she can stand & see out, but I don't like the leashes, so I'll be modifying it a bit. I plan on making a restraint with clip, come through the car seat base so that it attaches to the actual seatbelt underneath.

| I agree with both of you that the tethers are inadequate. Karan, instead of a regular clip, I have been thinking about using the kind that mountain climbers use for their safety gear. Home improvement centers have similar things for tying down equipment. I can't think of the name. I am eager to see what you do.

| Lol. I didn't even know they had a name. I just always call them "those clip thingies".

| Arrived home tonight and the large Pet Gear car seat had been delivered! Just put it in my car. I love it & so does ZoE! It's the perfect for her. Firm sides, that she stood on right away and plenty of room for her to stretch out. Kristin & Teresa, thank you so much for recommending the large . I'm happy to say the new large is the same quality as the old medium. I ordered a second Pet Gear stroller the exact same model as my first one, and it's not identical. The fabric is much thinner & slightly brighter in colour, and the handle is two inches higher than the old one. So I was a lil disappointed with that purchase. Happy this one is better. I'll take pics tomorrow during daylight. It's 8:30pm here & already getting dark....so not looking forward to winter...

| Happy to hear that you and ZoE love the car seat. Looking forward to pictures. I'm dreading winter too. Hate when it gets dark early.
