| Christensen Customer Service..... STINKS!!!! Seriously, I've been using the Chris Christensen Day-to-Day Moisturizing Shampoo and Day-To-Day Moisturizing Conditioner for a long time, recommended it to others, countless times over. This last bottle, apparently, the oatmeal was separated, and my Yorkies were getting increasingly drier, and began to mat terribly. Stupid me, searching for the reason, never considered the shampoo, as it was not something new in their regime. Last week, I just happened to glance at the bottle of shampoo on the counter, and and 'thought' it looked darker in color. OK, so yesterday I e-mailed them and explained the problem, and was told that the oatmeal had separated from the shampoo, and that the shampoo needs to be shaken. I replied that nowhere on the bottle does it state that it needs to be shaken, and I've gone through a number of bottles of this shampoo, never shook one of them, and never encountered a problem. They replied that I was right, they need to put that on their label and plan to do so, but in the meantime, suggested I use their clarifying shampoo. I don't THINK so. Not so much as an offer to replace the shampoo. Obviously, business is good, and they don't need mine. Anyway, be sure to shake your bottles....ME? I'm tossing mine and moving on...... | Hi, Lucky's Mom, just be sure to shake your shampoo, I'm sure it will be fine. If you notice any unusual dryness, I would suggest you not use it again. My girls skin and coats are really dried out, and normally, they have lovely long beautiful coats. Frankly, I'd have given them a second chance, if only they had cared enough to offer. Hi, Stormy...I agree, they're business will not stay good, if they don't improve their customer service. They've certainly lost mine, and that doesn't just include my Yorkies, but also dogs that I groom, for others. |

| Ya know, I noticed that, It really needs shaken, alot. I even looked on the bottle cause I thought.. They should put that on there,,, and they don't. It seperates big time,, I noticed cause it wasn't smelling like it had,, then it didn't look like it had,, then I noticed it was seperated, I shake it now everytime before the bath.. its fine now..

| Hi, Rhonda. Interesting that I'm not the only one to notice a change. I suspect, they have changed the formula a bit. (Although, they say, not.) I'm glad yours is OK now. I think I used all the oatmeal before I wised up. I guess I just never suspected the shampoo was the problem, because it had been so great, for so long. Sheila |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | It sounds like someone is getting too big for their britches - or should I take the R out of the word ? I noticed the 2nd bottle of Ice on Ice didn't work as well as the first. Too bad a company gets too big and loses the respect of the very people who got them there. |

| Yes, indeed, I think removing the R from their britches is a good idea. I DO like the way you think. Do you think they just are not smart enough to realize 'word of mouth' is everything? Perhaps they don't know that people 'talk'. I just feel bad now, for all the people I've met and recommended they use their product. (Probably have a lot of people upset with me.) I also feel like a pretty bad Yorkie Mom, not savvy enough to catch on to the fact that the shampoo was the culprit. Shame on me, I've had Yorkies for over 26 years. My girls are packin'.... |

| I dont think Chris Systems has gotten to large, the owner is really good about helping you. She did say she will be producing future bottles with the "shake well" (which I agree is not good that it isnt on there) but the consistency of the bottle looks as if it needs to be shaken IMO. I just spen $80 on brushes and they are the absolute BEST I have ever used! |

Well, Brooke, forgive me for saying so, but my experience has not been the case. "Helpful" would have been an offer to replace the shampoo, that the label did not state to shake. Esp. since I WAS a repeat customer, having gone through several bottles in the past with no problem. Frankly, the fact that she intends to produce bottles in the future with labels that state to "shake well' is of no use to me with this bottle. Sure if you have a clear bottle, you would realize the shampoo appears to need to be shaken, but I have an opaque bottle.

| I have used the cc products for some time now and have always been impressed. I even carry them on my site...I used the products even before I owned the site. The products work really well for me and so far I have had no problems. I am going to be contacting Lisa about this issue to see what she has to say. I do have to say that as just a regular customer and as a retailer they have always provided stellar CS and I stand behind this brand of product...Like I said, I sell it on my site and I use it on my dog. I'm sad to see that less than stellar things are being said about this product that has always had a sterling reputation. |

I was under the impression that the new bottles werent opaque like the old ones. I think their conditioner works well, but the best thing I have gotten from them are their brushes. Even if you are going to give the products up (which their are obviously several brands out their) I would give the brushes a try Ive never had so much fun brushing lol!
