| Comfort Harnesses Ok, so I see alot of people with comfort harnesses for their dogs. I was thinking about buying one for Chloe, but now I don't know. Some people tell me it's amazing and it's the best kind of harness, while others tell me it's hard to get on and is very annoying. And recently my neighbor's maltese ran away,so when they found her I asked how she ran away and they said it was the comfort harness because it slipped right off the dog. If you have a comfort harness for your dog, please tell me your opinon on it. And if you don't know what a comfort harness is,here's a picture.

| I have one of those Comfort styles and it is a pain, the buckle is hard to clip and unclip and often I get it buckled up and realize I forgot to put the bottom strap through the top strap, so then I have to unbuckle it. My favorite harness for walking is sold at Wallmart, PetCo and Puppia makes a similiar one but more money. It's like a mini vest, velcros on the back and between the shoulders there is a large easy to clip buckle. Once the vest is buckled you have two d rings that come together and the leash clips on that, it seems comfortable for Lola. The ones I bought at Wallmart were mesh and came in black, red, pink and I believe blue. they sell for around $10.00 It's a step in type.

you must be talking about the one I just posted about, check out Walmart, same style and half the price, of course sometimes the selection is not great, plus for spring WM came out with a bunch of colors and prints.

My experience is just the opposite. The Puppia version of the kind in OP's photo, I never had a problem with. But the Puppia step-in was a major hazard. ZoE could slip out of the step-in repeatedly. I live on a main road (two lane cos were a lil country...but still...traffic flies by at 50mph) so I need to KNOW she can't slip out of her harness when we're outside. I now use the Buddy Belt. I had ZoE wear it at our most recent vet visit (about a week & half ago) so he could look at where it pulled and how it fastened. It received our vet's approval and I've had no issues of ZoE being able to escape from it.

| Chloe doesn't have this harness. She has one that you just have to put her front legs through and clip. Very easy and I recommend it Just if anyone wanted to know

| I tried this harness for awhile and did not like it at all it was easy to get on but my baby didn't like her earsulled the other way to get it off. I had one that was too big that she could work out of pretty easy so I found one a little smaller and I could get it on but ended up cutting it off. I just found the no choke step in harness and I love it. There is nothing around her neck, you just put her little paws in and Velcro the top over the shoulders, there is no way she can get out.
