Donating YT 500 Club Member | Taycie got her Buddy Belt! Well Taycie got her Buddy Belt and to be honest I don't know how I feel about it. I love the look of it but I wondering if I got Taycie the right size. It doesn't feel horribly small. And maybe I am just not used to the fit. I know it is supposed to sit on the shoulders but I feel like it sits so high up. Her collar and BB touch.. That bothers me the most. I will post some pics. I am finding with some sweaters it fits and some it doesn't I got her a 3 and I am wondering if I should have ordered the 3.5.. Maybe I just need to give it time to stretch? Mostly it seems so tight in the chest area. I don't know.. Any advice on fit? Maybe I am just not used to it.

| It's pretty on her! I really like it. You might try hand-stretching it as Kristin suggested. Plus, that would probably help to soften it, too.

| Love the pink on Taycie! If the harness is only fitting on the last hole (like in your first picture), I would recommend the 3.5. The second picture looks like it could go to the second hole (hard to tell from a picture), and then with breaking in/loosening up, it would work. It should be form fitting, but not cinching the body. The way the BB harness looks on the back of a dog is different from other harnesses that cover more of the back and it does seem odd at first. This look is part of the design that distributes pressure so that the neck and shoulders are protected.

Thank you! I think I need to get used to it. I can use the second hole so I think it does fit her correctly. I think I just need to give it time to stretch. I think I am going to keep it

| Yay! The pink really is so pretty on her. Oh I need a girl to wear a pink BB and pink bows!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | She looks so cute in it, love that color on her, and it looks cute with her collar.

| I felt the same way you did when I received mine... Khloe got the size 2, and it looked tiny. It is a lot thinner than Couver's size 3, and it just seemed like a dinky harness. I am going to be hand stretching mine and hope that they mold more to their bodies. Right now, they seem rather stiff and look uncomfortable. Khloe got the hot pink too, and I wasn't in love with the color when it arrived either. I guess I'm just unsure, but don't plan on returning them because it was such a pain to get them

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I took Taycie on her evening walk tonight and used her BB. I fell in LOVE with it. Mostly because now I understand why it sits on her body where it does. Plus she did look super cute! I was also so impressed how there was absolutely NO pressure on her little neck I think with a little breaking in it will be perfect I feel TONS better about it! I think my problem was I am used to look of the traditional step in harness. Now we need to plan what our next color will be

| I had a similar issue with mine. I knew the BB sits higher on the back because I had seen my friends' yorkies with them on. I was lucky enough to buy it in person and have them help me get the right size for Kaji. It does mold to their little body, you just have to break it in. I bought the little leather wraps and Kaji wore it during the day over a t-shirt. We love it now!! He's a puller and a fear runner. I no longer have to worry about chaffing from when he pulls, or him possibly escaping from the harness. (he could get out of all the ones we had before) I love how low it sits in the front. No where near his little neck.

| Lol, so funny, I am so glad others felt the way I did. I felt crazy at first for not being big on it when I first got it, as everyone else raved about them. I thought it was going to be a super uncomfortable harness and was just... not really loving it. Plus the first one I got was the size 6, so it was thicker anyways, and it also bunched up where the d-ring and the buckle were and it looked so dumb... lol. Like I said in another thread, I actually returned it. I don't know what in the world came over me, but I decided to try it again, and got the size 5 and now we use it all the time. It's definitely softened up since we got it and it fits his body better now. I still wouldn't choose it as a harness to leave on him all day- I still think the leather, with a big buckle, wouldn't be extremely comfortable to say, go to sleep in for a day time nap, but I LOVE it for our walks and also when we are shopping downtown, or visiting pet stores, or whatever. I still don't choose it when we are going somewhere like the beach, or through the woods and mud.

| I found the pics... ok so originally I ordered the 5 and 6 and then was going to pick the one that fit the best and return the other one, but wound up returning both lol. Here is the size difference between the 5 and 6, pretty substantial, which is why I wish they would make a 5.5!! And then you can see Jax in the size 6, see how it was all bunched up like that?? I thought it was so odd, but I will say that oddly enough, the size 6 was MUCH softer than the size 5 which I thought was weird since it's bigger. But I am soooo glad I decided to give it another chance and order it again a few months later because it's now the main harness we use and I really love it. But I agree that at first, it can be very weird and hard to get used to...

| Wow! That is a big difference in size. I have been thinking about a BB but am hesitant. I guess I will just keep mulling it over. Sounds like those who have them eventually do really love them once they are broken in.

| Like a pair of good leather boots. I hate them at first, but after they're broken in they're my favorite pair!!!!
