| Thoughts on Sweaters and T Shirts? I have been unable to find a soft sweater to fit BJ. She finally went from 1lb 5 ounces to 1lb 9 ounces. I found a tiny T shirt at Pet Smart when I went for food. It fit her but she didn't want to move at first and I don't think she likes it. Are they more for the owner or do our babies need them when it is cold ? I couldn't believe the clothes and dresses and rain coats etc. Martha Stewart has a line of pet accesories but you sure pay for her name. Just curious how you feel. Thanks Bev and BJ |

| They do get cold. It helps to have little things for them to wear. They sometimes need time to get use to clothes. Although, depending on their personality, some might no be ok with clones unless it's really cold. My boy will wear clothes any never fuss about it. He doesn't mind wearing anything.

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I do not put clothes on my dogs.. occasionally I will on Ruby. But for the most part I do not. If left out too long Yorkies can get cold. The only thing that may be necessary for a Yorkie is a sweater or coat for frigid weather. All four of mine have coats, but I never use them. They go out and right back inside, no longer than three minutes during the winter. I think clothes are for the humans enjoyment not for the dogs pleasure. I dressed two of my girls up for the Valentines Day Ball summition. Ruby did ok, Brandi hated it.

| I have lots of clothes for my boy. I think it serves 2 purposes: one is that it keeps him warm (since yorkies do not have an undercoat like most dogs) and two is that its cute.
