| Found some nice socks for Yorkies on Hardwood. Hi, I just wanted to say that I bought these socks a little over a month ago for Brussels (before we got Bella) to keep him warm on the ground outside when he went potty. Well..they do work for that (as he does his business very quickly when it's cold). However, I have now discovered that these are *awesome* for hardwood floors as well. The new place has hardwood floors and it was a virtual slip-n-slide for our dogs. Well..these socks stopped all the slipping completely for Brussels. Yes, we do keep his paw fur (he's not a Yorkie, so yes, he has fur, not hair, lol) trimmed, it didn't matter he still slipped without these socks. Unfortunately, the size small fits him at 6 lb, and there is no extra small for Bella...but she'll probably fit a small when she's a bit bigger. In any case, I just wanted to give these socks an A+. They're great, they're affordable, they come in package of three quadsets, they actually stay *on*, and they have the non-slip grip (which actually grips). =) Dog Clothing and Foot Wear: Knit Socks for Dogs at Drs. | A member here on YT sells all kinds of cute socks and other "paw protectors" in many sizes. Karen is wonderful to work with and has a tremendous stock of footwear for furbutts. I have purchased snow boots, tennis shoes, slippers, socks and leg warmers from her. And she's very helpful when it comes to sizing......not to mention her super fast shipping! | Those...are adorable!!! Thank you for the link! I'm not seeing any with non-slip grips though, like the ones above. Am I missing them? I definitely need to order the black/pink/white saddle shoes ones for Bella...they're darling! [Edit] I see the descriptions say anti-skid, just no picture of that part. DEFINITELY going to buy these for her. Thanks again. I wish I knew half the different clothing places for dogs like a lot of you do, but I don't. :'( (slowly making a list now though) lol Last edited by MorkieMomma; 01-06-2012 at 10:51 PM. |

| OH MY!! And how darling are these?? Crossbone Leather Pink Dog Sandals methinks I have to order both. Well...maybe just the socks for now. =/ She's only 4 months old so she'll probably outgrow the sandals in another month (and it's winter here). I'll bookmark them. |

I very much like those socks, they are darling. I did discover that AllDogBoots have "Tiny" size, which I think will work perfectly for little Bella. I will be ordering some for her next week. The big move is on the 12th (and through the weekend following)...so probably best not to order anything else until we are at the new place. Thanks again so much for letting me know about these socks. They are so much prettier than what I've seen elsewhere. | |

| The Hello Kitty socks are bigger than the tiny size socks. If you have a Yorkie under 10 pounds, I don't recommend them. They are special for teapots

| I can never get socks or boots to say on my girls. No matter how is measure they always are too big. I have tried ordering a smaller size than they should be and they fall off. Really only Roxy and Zoey need them. They jump from area rug to area rug so they don't have to touch the cold floor. They are not touching them. The are just walking and I have watched the socks slid off as the girls walk alone. The boots will only stay on with out falling off for like 5 mins. long enough for really quick pottying outside and then I have to pick them up in cold weather.
