| Has anyone tried Slush Pups Snow Boots for dogs I cannot find a review on the web for these boots. They were recommended by a TV vet last year and I have been thinking of trying them ever since then but would like to hear how others found them first. Here is a link to see them on ebay. | Well, they look better than any other boots I have seen so far. I will not put a shoe or boot on Gracie that has a regular sole on it. Dogs like to be able to feel the ground under them and a thick sole is not going to feel normal to them. These say they are lined but don't seem to have a hard sole but should have enough material to protect the foot from ice and salt. Gracie has socks for inside but I had not seen anything I would use for outside on her until now. Do they come in colors? |

| I don't think they come in colours but they were recommended by the TV vet over therein the USA. I think they look quite good. Tootsy will resist anything on her feet, I know. She hates anything on her legs like 'sleeves' from coats. I would like to get her used to them as the winters over here are getting bad and the ice, salt and grit irritates her paws. I have been waiting for some really positive recommendations for a particular boot, but there seems to be a lot of different opinions. Eventually I will just have to purchase some and hope for the best, I guess. I know about alldogboots and may contact her - I haven't seen anything that I particularly like on her site, though. As you say, gracielove, I suspect that they do like to feel the ground beneath their feet. I don't want a boot I have to struggle to get on and I don't want a thick sole. I definitely want a velcro strap to secure the boot. thanks for these replies. xx |
