| Do you have a kennel you don't need? Hey everyone. Thanks again in helping me find a life jacket for the babies! Now I need some help in finding a kennel so they can fly to hawaii with us... I found out that they are not allowed to fly in the cabin with us so I have to buy two hard cases. I am wondering if anyone on here has one or two that they don't need anymore. This will be the only time I will need hard cases. I don't plan on taking them out of hawaii until we move and even then, they are allowed to fly in cabin. I don't want to spend over $15 each... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!! ~Rikki

| I know this is off topic, but im interested in finding out. I've heard that In order to bring your pets to Hawaii you must quarantine them for 6 months? Is this true? Maybe i'm wrong... |

| Well that is 1/2 true. It's only for 120 consecutive days. This has to be done before entry to hawaii OR this will be done as soon as you arrive in hawaii. You can do it before by going to your vet and sending the oefv blah blah blood test (i cant remember what it is). Once the people in hawaii receive the blood and test it for rabies, they will let your vet know whether it's positive or negative and that's when your quarantine starts. your pet also has to have a microchip as that's how they tract the test. once the 120 pass you can go to hawaii and do the direct airport release but even that costs money. it's all quite expensive... you can look up the "5 day or less" program and it has all the info.

| I would suggest checking your local craigslist- because of the size of a crate, even if you get a good deal on here- you will spend so much just to ship it to you.
