| I normally put together a folder of information on housetraining, dangerous household items, grooming etc. For the food I print out a label with my logo and the brand of food and place in a plastic baggy. |

| I think the necessary items that a puppy should come home with are: a small bag of the current food so that the new owners keep the puppies on a consistent food schedule. a tube of nutrical a small stuffed toy or blanket that the puppies and mom have been using so that the smell will relax the puppy in their new home. A "manual" of sorts with the puppies records (dates of vaccines, any notable vet visits) eating schedule, photos of the puppy, etc.c "fun" things are: new blankets new toys a harness & leash toothbrush/ toothpaste kit to get the new puppies dental health started right jammies or a hoodie to keep the new puppy warm

| Gotta say, I LOVE the harness idea, especially for these little yorkie pups. Having just had a new one come home, I couldn't even take her outside until I ordered a harness (and that's after finding one) online. Nothing "retail" fit her. If a breeder could find these tiny harnesses it could ensure the health and safety of a lot of pups. And the nutrical...huge plus if it came home from a breeder.

| Sorry for the late reply. I've yet to figure out how to be sure to see replies to my posts. I ordered custom harnesses from Ashlee (Owned by Fiona on YT). That way she looks super cute AND it fits just right. The ferret harness we got her was even too big, or we didn't adjust it right. Ashlee's are great because they velcro on, lickety split!

| you & i are on the same page!!! I went puppy shopping today too!!!! When you are buying toys, you should look into teething toys such as nyla bone, pet stages teething cooling stick (its actually made out of this cool fabric that you can freeze) and of course puppy kong. I tried to find a spikey ball but they only had them for bigger puppies! |
