| Not sure, but I would think that it would depend on the width of the band and whether it has elastic or not as to whether it would rub anywhere it is not supposed to. If the band is a little wider, it would lay a little away from his privates. Hope this hope this helps. I offer hands that are a nice width that can be ordered with or without elastic. Feel free to private message me if you would like more info.

| I prefer the custom made ones- they do not have elastic because they are made to fit your baby and not a whole range of doggies. Also they are made of more comfortable/ better quality products. Look up YT members 107barney and fufufashions for custom belly bands. Another thing to consider is how long you are leaving the belly bands on- you should try to never leave them on too long- also make sure you are checking it very frequently and changing it if it is wet- you never want the urine sitting against the dog. If I ever take a belly band off and it is wet I also make sure to clean my baby off. Also make sure the dog has plenty of time without the belly band on.

And I am leaving the belly-band on at night bc during the day I can keep an eye on him 24-7. And I do check it very often prolly every couple hours if I do have it on during the day when we have company.. and I always change it if its wet, and I have little dog wipeys that I clean his PP off and his little belly. thank u sooo much for ur advice I think its the elastic that is hurting him.

| With the custom made Belly Bands, each vendor adds their own special touches which makes their product unique. In order to determine which band would work best for you check out the vendors who offer belly bands, pm them with your questions and let their answers help guide you. The bands I make are shaped a bit differently than others, no elastic is needed, and I use satin or silk to help protect the hair. |

| I have belly bands from Chattiesmom and they are awesome. No chaffing and no breakage of the hair. Perfect fit. |
