| Lookout My Buddy Car Seat Has anyone used this car seat and with multiple dogs? I have Chip and Smokey and am thinking about purchasing it in the near future. I like it because I can put them both in there, it has a storage compartment, and it attaches using the car's seat belt, which is important because I don't have adjustable head rests in my back seat. Just curious if anyone else has used this particular car seat and what their reviews of it would be. Any body know of a place to get it cheaper? PetEdge: Lookout My Buddy Car Seat w/Storage for Pets

| Car seat Hi Ashley: I bought a Snoozer 11 Medium car seat for my 10 pound yorkie and find it GREAT. Very comfy and the safety tether works very well with my dog's usual harness. I would not use with a collar, to prevent choking. The seat is held in place by the safety belt - very easy to install and remove. He loves it and can look out or sleep and still see us from the back seat. Small dogs should fit in this size, but you would have to study dimensions etc or talk to the very helpful customer service. Also the 2 dogs might get tied up with each other if they move around a lot??? A good company to deal with and very responsive. I got it from Hayneedle - Variety, Sweet Variety. On the site I searched under 'All categories' at the top left for 'pet seats'. Scroll down until you get the one you want. The one with the drawer underneath is more expensive than the Snoozer 1, and that may be worth looking at. The cost on the site today for the one with the drawer is $114.99 plus $5 shipping. Good Luck! |

| Thanks for the review! The drawer really isn't all that important to me... I could live without it! It would be nice though to keep their leashes, treats, and doggie towels in. My main thing is for them to be safe. I was a little worried about them maybe getting tangled in the harnesses, but Smokey usually stays in one spot. Chip's the little wild one and I'd put him closest to the window. I'd have to get the large size because Smokey is a big boy at 15 lbs and Chip isn't a little tiny thing either... he's about 7-8 lbs. From what I read, it should be able to hold about 35 lbs.

| We have the Snoozer My Buddy seat and love it! My yorkies are about the same size, Chase is 15lbs and Calvin is 6lbs. There is enough room for them both to stretch out. Here's some pics, this was from a long road trip we took a couple months ago. |

| I really liked the looks of the Snoozer but the price was a little steep for me -- I got my Pet Gear car seat for 1/2 the price and it works very well. It also uses the car seat belts to hold it in place and has 2 tethers (mine have never gotten tangled). The Snoozer looks like it might be a little deeper, which I would like, but mine have not fallen out or started going over the side of this one when we have been driving. So, I guess it is deep enough. It is very well made -- sturdy. The cover zips off for washing. It doubles as an extra bed when I have it in the house. They seem to really like it for a bed and definitely like it in the car so they can see out the window. Pet Gear - PG11 - X - Booster Pet Car Seat in Charcoal | Pets By CSN This is the one I have -- can't remember where I bought mine, maybe Overstock.com -- it was close to $60. It was recently on a HUGE sale at the CSN site. I should have bought a second to just have a spare. But I moved too slow and the special pricing was gone before I could snatch one up. Still, this one seems to be wearing very well so I doubt I will need another any time soon. I am sure you will be happy with the Snoozer -- I have never read anyone unhappy with that brand. But the Pet Gear is an affordable option that I am happy with too. Thought I'd give you something to think about.

| I LOVE the Snoozer. I ordered a Pet Gear first and didn't like it. It did not seem sturdy enough to me... and Jackson was able to leap out of it, and still be attached, so basically hanging off the seat, LOL. I returned it. The Snoozer is AWESOME! We've had him and Nala (friends 6lb Yorkie) in there together and they fit perfect and comfortable in there. This is the medium size, btw. So the My Buddy would be significantly bigger.

| I Have the pet gear single and a double one for Jackie and Sadie, I had to shorten the tethers so if they tried to jump they could not jump out. Much to my surprise they just sit there. I got mine on csnstores.com at a real great deal. I paid $30.00 for the single one and $38.00 for the double one. On Friday I just got a console heated pet gear car seat for a little under $30.00 and a double one for $34.00. I happened to see them again on csnstores and decided to get them because I often come across someone looking for one. The only thing with csn stores clearance dept you have to get them ASAP or they are gone.

| Dog seat I looked around a lot before settling on the Snoozer seat, for both price and type of seat. I bought another type a 'Solvit' brand I believe, and it was really not very substantial or comfortable. It was relatively cheaply priced and looked OK in the ad, and that is why I originally chose it. I chose a Small as they said it was for dogs up to 15 pounds I think, but much too small and uncomfortable for my 10 pounder - he could only sit up in it. As I wanted to go on car trips where the dog could sleep comfortably and lay down as well as sit up, I splashed out for the Snoozer - and have never regretted it. The faux sheepskin is soooo cozy and the dog can really snuggle deep down into it. The Large would be much better for 2 dogs, but it will cover much of the back seat. Comfort comes at a (space) price. LOL. I did research price a lot on this seat and came up with a cheaper price, but the company did not follow up and I could never contact them. They did not answer phone or e-mail, so I had to call my credit card company and cancel the order out. Finally I paid a bit more from Hayneedle, but it was such a good experience compared with the 'cheapo' one! (No I am not a paid employee of Hayneedle, LOL) Hope you find the ideal seat and best price. |

| Car seat I have just looked up the company I had the communication/delivery trouble with. It is Dogcarseats.com, a division (with many companies!!!) of "Zicom". Perhaps they were just very busy before Xmas and the service could be OK now. You could look at them???? I must add that they did not charge my card, but I just could not get the seat! I needed the seat and canceled after a couple of weeks. |

| We have the Lookout, but I don't know what size. I purchased it from Craigslist for around $40, to include two of those straps that attaches to the seatbelt and hook to my babies' harnesses. It was in excellent shape as it was used in a car that was rarely used. I can put all three of my dogs in it, but usually transport only two at a time. Mine have never gotten tangled. Tia started at 10 weeks, under a pound, traveling with Ally, who was 3lbs. Tia and Ally love it! |

| We've got that one, and I really like it! My girls are about 12 and 9 or 10 lbs, so they are both bigger. I keep a blanket in there for easy clean up from muddy paws, etc, but the cover is washable. I honestly haven't used the drawer for a single thing, but it is nice to know it's there. I don't feel like the attached pictures have a very good perspective, but they do have plenty of room in there, so they can have personal space if they want to. There should be a few more pictures of them in the car seat in this album too: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Doggie...27980630575982
