| Teddy's Pride Hello, I am thinking about getting this product for my dog. Winnie has really bad breath and she hates when I brush them. Teddy's Pride is a product you sprinkle over their food and it's odorless and tasteless so they don't even know it's there. Teddy's Pride will make their bad breath go away and their teeth whiter if used daily. I have attached the website below. Please let me know if you have tried it as I really want to order it if it works! Welcome to Teddy?s Pride® Oral Care Home Page Thanks!! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I haven't tried it but it looks interesting. One of mine has really bad teeth and gums so I am looking for something to supplement brushing and Petzlife.

| Sounds interesting but most short cuts don't work that well. Still, I would like to hear feedback if anyone tries it. I found bad breath with our Yorkies usually means bad teeth. I recently had a dental on Ben (whose breath had gotten so bad I had to cringe when he kissed me close). They had to pull a few teeth and that made all the difference in the world! The vet said there was some infection there so he had to take antibiotics afterwards. I am so glad I had it done when I did. It can be very dangerous for them ot go around with an infection in their gums! Now his breath is as good as a brand new puppy! He is getting more up close loving than ever! If yours is still a puppy, it might be there are some retained baby teeth. That can trap a lot of food and cause decay as well as bad breath. I tell everyone that mentions bad breath to pls take them to the vet and see if a dental is needed. The difference is amazing!

| I have 3 dogs and have been using Teddy's Pride since June. I noticed a difference in their breath within 1 month! It is so easy to use and they have no problem eating their food! This product is amazing! I didn't really look at the whiteness of their teeth before I gave them Teddy's Pride - so not sure if their teeth got any whiter. |

| This is what I found in my dog owners home veterinary handbook: The oral cavity is bounded on the front and sides by the lips and cheeks, above by the hard and soft palate, and below by the tongue and muscles of the floor of the mouth. Four pairs of salivary glands drain into the mouth, the two largest being the parotid and mandibular glands. The saliva of dogs is alkaline and contains antibacterial enzymes. There is also a normal flora of bacteria in the mouth that keep harmful bacteria from gaining a foothold. These factors reduce the frequency of mouth infections in dogs. The parynx is a space formed by the joining of the nasal passages with the back of the mouth. Food is prevented from entering the respiratory tree by the back of the mouth. is prevented from entering the respiratory tree by the back of the mouth. Food is prevented from entering the respiratory tree by the epiglottis, a flaplike valve that closes over the larnx as the dog swallows. So bad breath is generally caused from bacteria associated with periodontal disease. This is the most common tooth and gum problem. It results from a change in the normal saliva, which creates a buildup of calcium salts, food, hair, and bacteria on the teeth. The Vet. should see the dog and determine if the teeth need cleaning and scraping at and under the gum especially.
