Bark Off ? Has anyone use the Bark Off ? It's a ultrasonic device that signals your dog to stop barking simple with the flip of a switch ! it's painless.

I tried it and just sent it back. Reason is that you can't really see (or hear) if it's working and it only works in a radius of about 20 feet. It also irritated one of my babies to the effect that she doesn't want to go out to the back yard anymore. All of the dogs hear the sound if they are barking or not so if you have more than one it is not a good trainings device. Oh... and if you order it online, even if they tell it is 2 for $10, you are ending up paying $44. I saw it last week at Walmart though for $9.95 (or so) for one...

Thanks Thanks alot I was looking into it , and I do have 3 furbabies, so if all of them can hear it and only one is barking that won't work. Yes I saw it for 10.00 for 2, so I was going to give one to my girlfriend . bark@ulater!!!! manina, mileymaxsasha

| We got the Pet Parade one from amazon. We LOVED it!! Best $10 ever spent. Jackson is not a big barker at my house by himself but when we visit my dads with their 2 dogs... barking can get a bit out of control. The bark repeller worked amazingly and they got the point real fast. Soon all we had to do was say 'quiet!' and they would listen. Just don't over-use and use it correctly. It should be used as a training tool, don't always rely on the remote. Unfortunately, the battery died after about 2 months and it stopped working when we tried to replace it. But it was only $10 and we're gonna buy another one.

Well... it does work but it's confusing for the furbabies b/c all of them get "punished" and don't really know for what... (that's my translation of Minnie's refusal to go back out to the back yard...)
