| Who uses "The Stuff" conditioning spray? It says it's supposed to help repel urine from sticking to the coat. Well it's not. Am I not using enough? The bottle says only a little works. I think I use about 4 sprays per dog. One spray on each side and two sprays on the butt. Any tips?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I'm not familiar with that product, but would love to find something like that for the male I took in.

| I used it on our cotton coat morkie male for about 8 yrs. The Groomer used to supply me with it. She bought it by the gallon and I would take my quart bottle in for refills. It slickered out any knots that he would get and was the only conditioner that I could use on him. I still use it on the yorkies in the winter and if the snow sticks to their legs I can just comb it out with Stuff. Never thought about it keeping urine off. He never seemed to have a problem. But mine get baths pretty regular and I used it after every bath and between times with the morkie. It's the only spray on conditioner that I use. Here's from an ad: The Stuff Conditioner & Detangler This is "The Stuff" to use for beautiful coats. Unique silicon-formulated leave-in conditioner protects the coat while removing and preventing tangles. Repels dirt and dust for a long-lasting clean. The Stuff is a unique leave-in hair conditioner and dematting formula that’s hypoallergenic and non-toxic. Conditions and protects a pet’s coat while removing and preventing tangles. Penetrates mats and tangles to cut grooming time. Formulated with Silicon to repel dirt, dust, and urine so coats stay cleaner longer. The Stuff is great to use on all coat types. This 16 oz bottle contains a ready-to-use formula.

| xmasbaby75 uses this spray - she's taking a forum break since Brandi's death last week but once she pops back on, I'm sure she can fill you in! She uses the product on all her yorkies and they are all long haired. I'll tell her you were asking...

I just found it on Amazon...I might give it a try. Going to ask my groomer first if she has ever used it.

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | We use "The Stuff", and I love it. It works great on all the yorkies. We've never really had a problem with urine because even on the long-haired dogs, their bellies are cut shorter. I spray them down before and after a bath to prevent any matting, and it is is a great coat conditioner. I do use a bit more than 4 sprays per dog, because I go over the whole body - and perhaps my dogs are just bigger! You don't really need a lot of this stuff - spray a few times, and then brush it through. Just be careful, if you have hardwood floors, because it leaves a slick spot! Just put a towel down before you start spraying.

| petedge.com is where I got it from. But if you don't order at least $60 worth of stuff you get charged a fee (they are actually a wholesaler that's why). But there are some of us who occasionally get together and purchase as a group. You can check out this thread, I don't think they have ordered yet. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...r-petedge.html Or else I'm sure you can look at petsmart, amazon or ebay.
