| Stainless Steel Dog Food Container Dog Whisperer by Cesar Millan Stainless Steel Air-Tight Food Storage Container with Scoop at PETCO I saw this food storage container and I love the looks of it. I love Cesar as well and he's the 'maker' of the product. Of course it's sort of high priced, I'm sure simply because his name is on it (marketing, blegh!) but I looked online and the few other stainless steel dog food containers I found were just the same price or MORE so I guess it's normal since it's stainless steel? Anyways... I just have an ugly plastic container to store his food now and I want something that doesn't look so crappy- that's why I found this. Do you know if there's anything that looks nice like this that's cheaper that holds atleast almost 6lbs of food? or should I just cave and buy it? I saw it at the actual Petco store which is probably what I'll do (no shipping prices) but I didn't know if anyone knew of anything cheaper yet nice. Thanks!

| That's really nice. I buy the 5# bag and store it in a plastic air tight container in the cabinet. I have been wanting to buy the bigger bag because the store I use is closed on Sunday's and I have to get there every other Sat for sure. At times it's hard and wanted something to put in the closet for the extra if I did buy the bigger bag. This just might work. Thanks for posting that. Yes, SS is expensive but worth it. It's easy to clean and stays nice looking forever. P.S. I love Cesar too |

| Your killing me here Brit. Just when I think he has everything, there's always something else to buy. The big bag is what, 11lbs or 15? I forget but if I put 5 in the regular container the left over's can be stored in this. I think this will solve my problem. |

| I'm killin' myself, hahaha. I buy wayyy too much stuff for Jackson, entirely too much! But the way I look at this kind of things is it's gonna last us a long time and I'll probably never need to buy another one! I justify my spendings!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | It really is cute, and it's something you could use for a long time. Since stainless is so popular right not, you can find it everywhere, and even places like Walmart have some great stainless storage containers at prices below $20.00, although they are not dog themed.

Also (another excuse) I've noticed the Dog Whisperer products getting less and less at Petco and I'm wondering if they just didn't sell well. I know he had a food made by the company Castor and Pollux (I think?) that they no longer sell. Jackson ate it as a pup. He also had treats and wet food no longer there. The only thing they still have are these treat jars and the leashes and collars, so I wanna snatch it up while I can!

I know Walmart has great prices but we don't have one here. It's about the only store that's not in my area.

I rarely shop in Petco but did see his food there last time I was in, sometime around the holidays. I hope they have it.

| I went to Petco and there were two on the shelf. One did not have the blue rubber bottom so I got the other one. It said it was on sale, $34.00 reduced $11.00. I don;t think it's worth 45.00 but for 34 I bought it. It's perfect for the closet and now I can buy the larger bag and keep the reserve fresh. Only have to go to the petstore now every six weeks instead of 3. Thanks Brit, I love it when other's do the research for me. LOL Hope you were able to get one for Jackson. |

| I haven't had a chance yet today, but I'm either going to go in the AM or later this evening. I hope it's $34 at my Petco too!

| Thanks for giving me the idea of stainless steel (SS) containers for the pups dry foods. I need two, one for the younger 3 and one Zipp who is on K/D. Walmart is a great suggestion. I don't know why I didn't think of SS sooner, their food bowls are SS
