| Not sure if you have a petsmart near you but I have purchased two for my girls from them and they have a good selection of sizes. My girls wear the xxsm. Out gear is another online mail order. |

| I purchased the Ruff Wear Portage life jacket for Emmitt. Got a fantastic deal last winter at R.E.I. Outlet online. We plan to take Emmitt with us on the boat this summer and we have some big plans for this coming Christmas -- will Santa find us out on the ocean in the keys? Anyway, if we were just planning to take some short lake trips I would probably bought a less expensive model, but I wanted to be sure that my little Emmitt would be safe. Here's the link.-- Ruff Wear Portage Float Coat for Dogs at REI.com |

| Here are some pics of Emmitt in his Ruff Wear life jacket. This jacket was very reasonably priced -- the jacket retailed for $49.99, but I paid around $25.00 from the R.E.I. Outlet. Last edited by chattiesmom; 03-29-2010 at 09:15 AM. |

| Wow, great links! I'm gonna go check all of them out.... Jackson LOVES to swim, both ocean, lakes, and pool water. He can swim pretty good but I think he'd be more comfortable and have more fun if he didn't have to work SO hard. Lifejacket will definitely help him out! Thanks!

| Anyone have experience with this one? Dog Swim Vest - Dog Supplies 99.9% of the time, it will be used for swimming in my dad's pool this summer... Jackson can swim really well w/o anything but like said above, I just want that extra support to help him out so he doesn't tire as quick. I wonder if this even does anything.

| So, went to Petsmart today and tried one on Jackson. He was the "small" size and I got him the Outward Hound brand. It was $20 and I picked up one for my dad's pooch, too. I think the same ^^ as you with the Hawaiian style.

| We bought ours from Pet Edge. I always place a large order when I order there to off set the surcharge. They are nice jackets even if my girls hate them!
