| darling bows on barrettes @ Michael's! Who would've thought you could find Yorkie accessories @ Michael's?? Yep, I was amazed, too, but I found these darling barrettes by the ribbon spools. Each packet contains 4 barrettes for only $2.99! The barrette size is approx. 30mm, which is the size I order for custom bows and use when I make my own. Sophie has thin hair, so I secure a little ponytail on top with a latex band and then slip the tiny barrette through a small section of the hair under the latex band. (Because the band is on top of the barrette, it's pretty near impossible for the barrette to come out.) |

| Thanks. :-) I've decided to keep her hair trimmed shorter around her face because she just doesn't look good when it gets longer-- it's just too fine. I also like her body trimmed to a "skirt" all around so she has some length but it doesn't hang down much past her body. It works with her fine hair, plus she's pretty active and it stays neat. :-) I can't believe how long and gorgeous Bailey's hair is getting!! |
