Has anyone used Mane & Tail? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Someone said a good product to alleviate matting was Cowboy Magic. I am going to look for it at the farm store (though I have never seen it). However, we used to use a conditioner called Mane & Tail. Has anyone tried it? It is quite easy to find and maybe works like Cowboy Magic.

I have not tried the Cowboy Magic but just finished up using the Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner and I thought it worked as well as any other I've used. I used it sometimes on my hair as well

It's easy to find and last time I checked Petsmart had a huge bottle of the shampoo and cond. for a good price. can't remember the price but the bottle were huge! It was a special offer

I started to use Mane & Tail . I loved the product so much that I bought a few bottles of shampoo and conditioner .

One of my new friends , a member of YT is showing 2 of my girls and he told me that he have very much fun hearing the peoples commenting about the coats of Venus and Kellie .

I used to use it myself, cause I have really long hair!

I liked it! Just haven't got any recently.

I use the mane n tail shampoo and it works great but I dont use the conditioner.

I have used Mane and Tail products for about 15 years. First on my daughter's hair which was well below her bottom and fine as a Yorkie's. For the most part I use it on the horses, now, I just haven't brought a supply up from the barn.

I have used all of the products, but REALLY love the leave in conditioner. I use it liberally and then rinse most of it out. If you massage it into a tangle, usually they slip right out. Good Luck.

I use Mane and Tail shampoo and conditioner for all my show Yorkies . The results are fantastic .

I still have a big ole bottle of the M&T shampoo. Hated it. It dried their hair out so bad they started to get breakage. M&T coats the hair like wax. I use to be a hair dresser and try perming someone's hair that has used it for years. The perming solution WILL NOT penetrate the hair. Hair is just as straight after the perm as before you started. Decided to use it myself once and I could not get a comb through my hair. For weeks after that, my hair was so tangly it was just a mess. So, no, I don't use it for my babies anymore. I use it to wash my car.

I use it for mine and it works great! Their hair comes out really soft.
