| Do you use these kind of harnesses in the summer? One of the ladies in the dog store was telling me she uses them but I would think it would be too hot but she said some of them have mesh Puppia Dotty Step-In Harness B - Sky Blue |

| Cute harness . Sophie once unsnapped the plastic clasp of a similar one while lunging at a squirrel when on a walk, so be sure it's a very tight clasp. As for the heat, I guess it would depend how far you walk and how long you leave it on when it's hot outside but I think it would be fine under normal circumstances.

| Daisy has this vest in pink (see Avatar). It is very secure because it has velcro, plus a clasp, and also 2 rings to attach the leash. But I do think it would be a little uncomfortable in the hot summer. For summertime, I have her wear the regular Puppia mesh harness. I just noticed they have a cotton one that would probably be great for hot days! TheNewYorkDogShop.com

| i have a mesh harness that all my dogs use winter and summer Mesh Harness Product however they are velcro so if you dont like velcro or you are afraid your dog is to strong then i would not suggest it but i can lift a 12 pound bag of flour with one of these harness straped inside and the velcro never give even a little bit

| I have always used puppia harnesses no matter what the weather is like and have not had any issues with it. The only problem I have with them is matting which is why I am changing harnesses. But they are very strong, reliable, and never seem to bother the dogs when they are on!

| I have 2 Puppia harnesses (well, one is a fake/ripoff, and I can really tell the difference). I love the Puppia's but it does cause his hair to mat a bit (only when his hair was a bit on the 'longer' side). I got him one of chattiesmom's silk harnesses for the warmer weather, as I feel like it would definitely be comfortable and cool in the summer months.

| Ive just bought that style in black polka dot...its a really nice secure harness, but i think it would be too hot for the very sunny weather. Ive got the mesh puppia one for the summer. Although we live in the UK, i buy the puppia harnesses on ebay from america..it works out cheaper than buying from the Uk!!

| I won't let my girls wear anything other than Chattiesmom's silk harnesses. Hopefully she never stops making them, because I don't know what I'd do! Her harnesses are the BEST They are so light my girls don't even realize they are wearing them, and Missy's coat is to the floor and she doesn't get tangles. I'm waiting for two harnesses, two leashes, and a coupler to arrive in the mail right now! Can't wait!

| Way to much money. At Petco we pay around $12.00 for the same thing. Penny is only 6 months but we will use this one come summer. They are safe and no shipping and handling.

| We use the Puppia harness, its not a step in you have to slip the neck part over the head and then there is a strap around the body. I also use a step in harness, it all depends on the day and mood I am in - mostly its the Puppia
