Donating YT 1000 Club Member | My Yorkie will use steps to get on the bed but jump down. I think they are to steep. I put treats on them and held her and placed her on each step till she started trying it herself. Now she flies up them, wish she'd use them to get down too. Our bed is high so we had to get the big set of steps.

| Mine wouldn't use them till our other Yorkie started using them, then it was like"Oh I have to use them because SHE is!" That is the only thing that worked for us... jealousy!

| Mine would use them going up, but never going down. It took a few days of getting him used to them..placing him on them and holding him while he walked...then I let him sleep in the bed with me. He loved that little reward!

| Daisy got steps for Christmas. She is 2 years old. I used treats and at first she would only go up 1 step, grab the treat, and get down. During the day I put the steps under a window and she ran right up to look for CATS! Once she was up there, she had to turn around and come down. At night I put them back next to the bed. For about a week she would go up, but jump off. Now she uses them all the time.

| We've had steps for many years and Barney and Daisy know the ropes well. When we got Teddy, we put him on the step and lured him up to the bed with food and once he mastered going up, we did the reverse with down. He sometimes leaps over the stairs or jumps off of them but we kept scolding him when he did not use them. It took consistency and alot of yummy treats but all three use the stairs to go on and off the bed. Good luck, the little steps are great - our set has 5 up to our bed.
