| Pet I.D. Tags Do you guys know what the best website to order some i.d. tags is? Also, what information should I put on the tag, I know the obvious, Name, Address and Number, any other important things? Thanks in advance! |

| I order mine on eBay! There's a few sellers that sell them way cheaper than those machines at Petsmart, etc. I simply put his name/last name and my phone number. Nothing else. But I know some people do address, and some put "Needs Medicine" (even if they don't really) so if ever stolen, the thief may not want to keep a dog that needs medication. I've never done that before though.

| I like these: Boomerang Pet Tags: Guaranteed to last. Mailed today, Free Shipping. They are very durable and easy to read. On the front I put my dogs name, my name, and my phone number. On the Back I have: "I am loved and missed, REWARD available" |

| My girls have the steel enamel, and there is one heck of a nice sale on them right now. Pet ID Tags I only put their first name and both our cell numbers. I don't give out a home phone to anyone. I wouldn't do addresses at all, and if your pet does get away and someone finds her and calls, then just meet them somewhere other than your home.

| Check your local Wal-Mart. I recently made my Jay Jay’s ID tag with a do it yourself engraving machine in Wal-Mart. It cost $5.00 for up to 3 lines at my choice. I used 2 lines; Please Call If Found with my phone number. |

| I order mine on ebay too and I get the Red Dingo tags. They are super cute and you can pick your color/design. We just have name/telephone number as well.

| I ordered mine thru the local animal shelter. The were like $4.50 and was able to have writing on both sides. I have their names on one side, both our cell #'s and vets phone # on the other side. Both of mine are microchipped too.

| I just got tags for Bella and I love them. They are rather pricey but if you're looking for bling...well...these are awesome. Crystal ID Tags I had the following engraved: Bella street address city, state cell phone number

| Sophie Kate has a Red Dingo dog tag also, on her at all times (on her collar which never comes off even when she is walking outdoors in her harness). Simple information on the tag, her name and my cell phone number.

| I was always told just to put a phone number and the dogs name. That is what is on Pixie's tag.

| printed vs. engraved No matter where you get your tags just make sure that they are engraved and not just printed on the tag. I ordered some on line and did not realize that they were printed. They did not last very long. I didn't find this out untill my furbaby Lizzy came up missing and I looked at my other dogs tag and saw that the information was no longer there. Now she is out there with her blank I.D. Tag. |

| I just got mine from Petsmart. It was just easier since I go there for everything else, and no wait time. They have a really cute selection, I spent $8.00 on a pink heart for my Sasha and put her name on the front, then my address and phone on the back. She will be inside with me at all times and when she goes potty she'll be on her leash so I guess I didn't really need one, I just thought they were cute lol!
