non-girly or unisex dog carrier? I'm not sure if you guys have run into this problem, but my boyfriend does not like many of the carriers out there, probably because they are made to look like cute purses! While I love many of the carriers YT members have (especially the kwiggy-bo ones), I'm looking for a more masculine (or unisex would do ) messenger style dog carrier for my puppy, who will be coming home in two weeks. The problem is, the very few messenger/sling style carriers I've found look poorly made or collapsible or generally not very comfy or supported for the dog. Others I've found look too bulky or not very stylish. Yes, I am guilty of being extremely picky. But if anyone can help, I figured it would be a YT member. Can anyone direct me to a good brand or website or product? Thank you!

I recently got a sturdibag its not good for "hiding" the dog if that is what you are looking for... but if it is just to carry them places where they are allowed, it is a great bag, very sturdy, and I got the black color so it is not feminine at all.

Thank you for the responses! YT totally rocks. I'm not looking for something to "hide" the dog, just something that is practical to carry and, most of all, comfortable for the dog. Love the Erme bag, but $450 would be a tough sell for the bf and I'm a bit concerned about the top collapsing in. Does anyone have experience with the messenger style bag and/or slings? Are they comfortable to carry? And are your yorkies happy with it?

Bergan Comfort Carrier - Carriers - Crates & Kennels - PetSmart We have this one and like it...except now we need another one lol. It was fine for Bandit (4.5 pounds) and Nala when she was young, but if they are in there now together they are way too squished. It's a great carrier though

| I have a very nice small one that I am selling for $40 plus shipping. It is just right for a small yorkie. I have used it a few times and love it, but most of my yorkies are too big for it, so I don't use it anymore. It is in excellent shape. Here is a picture: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...ligatorBag.jpg It is 12 1/2 long x 6 1/2 wide x 10 inches tall. Includes clip on cell phone case. I also have this one: http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...CellteiBag.jpg It is made by Celltei and has locking zippers and many other nice features. It is $50 plus shipping. It is size X-Small - 12.5" L x 7" W x 10" H Very good condition. Celltei Pet Carriers: Basic Pak-o-Pet

Thanks Little Bit! Unfortunately those bags didn't pass the "man" test with the BF but I love some of the other Celltei bags. My favorite so far: Celltei Lite Pet-on-the-Go (the camo one) another fun one I found: TheNewYorkDogShop.com And a funny article I found on google: 'Man bag' dog carriers for manly men with little dogs The title says it all: "'Man Bag' Dog Carriers For Real Men With Little Dogs." The article also gives some leads on more masculine dog carriers. Thought this might help some fellow YT members who are lucky enough to have "real men" for partners who are comfortable enough with their sexuality to have small dogs (and of course our male YT members, as well ). Enjoy!

You are welcome! You can't go wrong with a Celltei bag. They are really well made.
