| Buddy Belt Question Hello all! I have been using a Puppia brand harness for Harley and hate the way it mats him up so quickly. I have been looking into the Buddy Belt and have a question. Harley has a medium length coat but it is cottony so matts very easy. Does anyone have this combo on their dog and use the BB? Also he measures a little over 11 inches around which would be in the Size 2 but the chart I seen had that listed as 2-4 lbs, which Harley is right at 6lbs. Should I go up to the size 3 which is 12-15 inches and 4-8 lbs? Thanks for your help! Jeri and Harley |

| Bumping this for you. I have a terrible time measuring my babies and getting it right. Half the time I have to send something back. Don't know what the problem is. Their measurements stay the same. ~Joanne~

| I would go for the bigger size so you can put it over jackets and sweaters too.

| Maybe go a size up in case you need to put sweaters on then the harness over them. My three girls have the BB and I make sure to brush them really well "before" putting these on them, and especially "after" they have had them on. The BB will mat the coat as well. I recently bought them harnesses that have a silk lining, and I have not had the problems with mats.

| Maximo wears the Buddy Belt and he doesn't get mats. He has a full length silky coat, so I can't say how a cottony coat would fare in it. As for size, I would order the larger one. If you order online, look for an exchange policy. I believe Muttropolis will exchange an un-used BB if you aren't happy with the size or fit. Maximo fits in his size 3, but I'm going to order him the size 4 because I think it would make arranging his leg "feathers" easier, and the larger size would fit over clothes as others pointed out. (Plus, we have another Yorkie coming who will fit in the old 3 ) |

| I have to differ with everyone, when I ordered Laci's she was still a puppy and it was to big. I hated it, I hated having to use the last buckle hole and I felt it just didnt fit right.

| I use a choke free harness from sassy pup and I like it bc it is easy on and off. I measured pixie's girth and it was 11 inches so I went up to a 12 and it fits great and she still has room.
