Donating YT 11K Club Member | Potty Bells Does anyone own those bells that your dog is supposed to touch to let you know they want to potty? If you do how do you train them to do that?

| I don't but I have friends who did this. They just took the puppies paw and hit the bells each time they went out and eventually the puppy gets it and starts doing it on their own! |

| I dont have the bell, but on my sliding glass door I used a suction cup hook and hung this bell that has a dog head on it, I bought it this past christmas season ,,, it really is an tree ornament. I hung this on the hook of the suction cup that is stuck to my glass door and Kobe goes to the door and hits it with his nose or paw. Other wise he would sit there untill I noticed he was waiting. Even when he hits it I sometimes tell him to come to the front door to go out and he comes. I put this on the door one month after he was basically house trained. He is almost 6 months.

| I have the Pooch Bells...matter of fact, YHR has a link on the website; so if anyone decides to purchase please use the link. A percentage of the sale will go to YHR and will benefit the Haven fosters. Depends upon the pup I guess. I have two who always use the bells. The others may not because my Cookie rings them most of the time....and she is like the mother of my crew. They don't need to do it with her around. I did exactly as tjdmom did and they picked it up. Now, when Cookie rings the bells, the others run to the door.
