Love Discreet Carriers

Do you ladies have a favorite carrier that hides your baby? Minnie is three pounds, and I run a lot of ten-minute errands. I'd love to take her more places with me.

Is the Kwigy-Bo Alex particularly great for this?

Not to take away from all the great carriers out there, but I use a big purse! They have so many cute ones and it isn't obvious you have a dog in it!!!

I love, love, love my Kwigy-bo carrier. I have the large alex and I can take Lexi and Bentley everywhere cause they are very quiet. They have been to stores, restaurants, anywhere I go. It is GREAT!!!!

Crazy question for you.....what kind of large purse though do you find that has holes or mesh for them to breath? I am also looking for a purse type carrier but am not ready to spend the price of some listed since I am getting a new baby in a week or so.

We got our Kwigy-bo carrier from Adrianna and she can get them at a better price. We got the camo one so Hubby would also carry it.

I love my Kwigy Bo carrier!!! I have the small Alex Luxe in gold and am probably going to get the black alex luxe, too. I LOVE them. Here is a link to the thread with Sophie in the small one. She weighs about 5 lbs.

Love Wow!

Thanks for posting pictures of Sophie and her carrier. I'm convinced! Sophie is a little doll!

We have this backpack.

We stick it on our back and carry Derby in it and no one EVER notices. There are tons of pockets everywhere too to carry his stuff and a few of our stuff. Obviously this is not Derby lol

You can see that you can also "roll" it like a suitcase! have it zipped up, or let him stick his little head out!

BONUS!

There is a clip kind of like a seat belt to attach to the furbaby's collar so he doesn't jump out when you're rolling down the street!

Derby LOVES IT. He sleeps in it, and has started to want to curl up in it in the house as another place to nap.

We got ours at PJ pets (formally petsmart i think), but i think you can buy then anywhere?

Default Celltei Bag

I have this one that I really, really love, but it is too small now so I have a bigger one. It is a Celltei size XS. The don't make this in Blue anymore. It is in very good shape. It has only been used a couple of times. It has a few small scratches in the fabric on the back that aren't very noticeable.

They are really well made. Everything has double locking zippers so you can get into it easily, but the dog cannot budge the zipper open. It is airline approved.

It is pretty discreet. I have even taken my dog to the office in my kid's high school in it and they never knew she was in there.

I will sell it for $59 plus shipping.

Ummm.... I may not be the best person to give advice on this one: last week Sophie and I got kicked out of Target! I have taken her into Target in my purse for months with no problem. In fact, the cashiers always go ga-ga over her when she peeks her head out at the check-out lane. But last week an overly uptight store manager (young and heady with retail mgmt. power, lol) accosted us in the store and ESCORTED US OUT of the store because no pets are allowed. Lol, talk about being embarrassed! (He was actually quite an a$$ about it.) But has that stopped me from taking Sophie places? No! We just keep our eyes out for overly zealous managers. ;-)

Star Awesome!

That is an awesome story about Sophie. Minnie successfully accompanied me to the Target, Walmart, and the grocery store.

But this last time, I got overly confident. I was wearing a black coat, which I thought would camouflage her puppy fur. My hair is long and matches her tan spots, so I guess I figured she was invisible.

I strolled nonchalantly into Walmart, not bothering to cover her head with my jacket, the way I usually do.

The greeter saw her.

"No pets in the store, ma'am."

Alas.

I too take Sebastian or Autumn into Target, Walmart, H.E.B., the Mall, restaurants, movies, anywhere and everywhere that don't allow dogs. But they stay in my doggie purse. If I'm in a supermarket I grab a basket before I go in and put my bag in it and just walk in. I've been doing this with Sebastian for the past 2 years and haven't gotten caught yet. Autumn's been doing this for a year now. I will take pictures later so you can see their purse.

I have tried this but Brooklynn (aka escape artist diva)... can get out! No matter which purse I use. Even the carrier I ordered. Is like the pop goes the weesel game (only a cute puppy instead) We were walking into my sons school and she mananged to stick her little head out... and stand up with her paws sticking out... and all the girls starting screaming "OOOh look at the little puppy!"
