Thor's Human Donating Member | Bad experience with http://www.urbanpup.com/ I hate to post another negative review, especially after the last one got so ugly... but I feel that I should warn people about this site. I ordered three items from them several months ago. They informed me that only two were available, and asked me what I wanted to do about the third. I asked them to cancel the third item and ship me the other two, which they did. So far, so good. About six weeks ago, I received something that sort of looked like the third item. It was not the print I requested, and it was the wrong size. I had asked for a small alphabet cammo hoodie (and I thought that it had been canceled). Instead, I got a straight cammo hoodie in medium - it weighs more than Thor does. I have emailed them half a dozen times to confirm that they will refund my money on this part of the order. I said that I would send the item back, though I would expect them to pay shipping (no return slip was included with this shipment). It's been over a month, and no one has responded. Just wanted to let everyone know.

| IMO, if you had a bad experience and the other party is not willing to work it out, then I think you should post. That is really frustrating. I hope that you are able to get your money back. Can you find any other way to contact the company? Phone? I am sure you have looked. I would be upset, too! Poor Thor can wear something that wears MORE than him!

| Did you pay with a credit card? Could you contact the card company to make a dispute with them possibly? Personally, I appreciate hearing even the negative reviews- so I can try to select good, ethical companies to buy from.

| I also like to hear bad reviews because I buy a ton of stuff online, or anywhere for that matter and like to hear how the service or the product are working out. If its bad news, then I wont have to waste my time or money. I'm sorry for your experience in this case, but again, I do appreciate you telling your story.

| It says they are in the UK?? Is that right? It would probably cost more to ship back than the item costs. They should just refund your money. Can you use Skype to call them, so it's free? |

YT Addict | Go and post and tell people your experience all us consumers have are each other. I know i complained a lot too about funnyfur.com and moderntails.com all bad places to buy dog clothes very rude people and you never get clothes on time and the sizes are wrong and takes forever for you to get a refund. IDK what are up with these dog cloths companies to think they can treat their customers like sh#!. they say their customers are number one priority but once they got you to make a order with them good luck talking with them ,returning and getting the right size back. they loose big business from me because i dress my dogs like i would my kids. They got a bigger wardrobe than my boyfriend lol. thanks for letting us know. One complaint is good enough for me never to buy there. i don't take the chance anymore. |

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | I have ordered from www.urbanpup.com once. I didnt have any problems with them, the items I ordered arrived quickly but then again I am in the UK so it will be quicker for me. But I didnt really think the dress harnesses I bought were worth the price, they wernt that well made. Poppy has only worn one of them the once and threads started to come off! The other just dosnt look as nice as it did online. So I probably wont buy from them again either, I also dont think that they had much choice. @ inabowbina: thanks for the heads up on www.funnyfur.com I was just checking out there website, wont be buying from them now.

| Hi guys, just signed up to add my experience with these guys. I work for an independent pet shop, and we got behind Urban Pup and took on many of their products. Their mesh harnesses sold quite quickly, however we had many customers return the harnesses within a few days as the seams had come loose and the harnesses were in tatters. We've never experienced this with any of our other harnesses before, so we realised quickly that Urban Pup had very bad quality products. We sent the harnesses back to Urban Pup and told them what had happened. Did they try to help us? No, they actually got very abusive and told lies, saying the harnesses we sent them were covered in dog faeces (they weren't, the worst one smelt of wet dog, but the others were almost as good as new hygiene wise) and that our customers must have purposely damaged them. They met us with lies upon lies and threats and tried to scare us out of taking any further action. The man emailing us was actually the managing director, so it wasn't just some fed up member of the customer support team either. We can safely say that Urban Pup is a dirty company with low quality products, no respect for its customers and no understanding of salesmanship. Despite their attempts to threaten us, we are taking further action. Absolutely disgusting company. |

| I also had a bad experience with them. I wanted a coat for Tootsy and liked one of their more expensive coats, but she was between sizes. I telephoned and asked if they would measure the coat for me, so I could make an informed choice. They were very abrupt and disinterested saying that the sizes are on the website. I pointed out that many times the actual size is smaller/bigger than the measurements displayed. They weren't interested in checking the measurement for me and told me to order both sizes and return the one I don't want at my expense. I did not order the coat and will never buy from them in future. Awful company. |

| Utterly appauling customer service I was registered as a trade customer, I have used them for some years, although I found it very frustrating you can never talk to anyone that actually knows anything. I have had the same experience in the past where I press the option such as XL and it changes to another size, so that when you receive your order its wrong! I let this go in the past but recently ordered for my own dog and received a small instead of the XL I thought I had ordered. Today on explaining this I was told that they don't exchange for trade and that I was disgusting for ordering something for my own dog using a trade order and they have closed my account without notice. I rang back to speak to the owner who refused to talk to me but passed on the message to the receptionist that my account was now closed! Probably cant even speak English I wouldn't be surprised! I Was treated like a piece of rubbish and I think it basically highlights the tin pot operation they are running.. I think they are probably running it from a garage. AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU LIKE TO BE SPOKEN TO LIKE RUBBBISH AND GET NOWHERE AS THEY HAVENT REALSIED THAT THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, AND FOR AN £8 COLLAR EXCHANGE THEY ARE NOW GOING TO GET NOTICED ON ALL PUBLIC MEDIA FOR THE WRONG REASONS. |
