| Mr. Darcy's Visiting Manners....HELP!!!!! Mr. Darcy is 10 months old this coming Sunday. He's been pad trained for months and has excellent potty manners. He is neutered. I take him visiting frequently and many of my neighbors welcome him in. However.........he seems to want to mark, especially at a (petless) neighbors apt. She says a lady friend brings her dog over sometimes and perhaps this is why He wants to piddle. Is this common with little male dogs? Do they get "beyond" doing this? His brothers McKennitt and Jack, (60 and 40 lb. herding dogs )would never have attempted or considered trying to "go" in someone's home. Company Of Dogs offers pee pee bands or some such concept. Have any moms of Yorkie boys out there coped with this marking business while visiting? Should I diaper him? Do the bands help? He's my constant companion so I'd hate to leave him behind. Advice please.........for otherwise dear Mr. Darcy.........

| Pasquale is pee pee pad trained...but when we go visiting to others i do put a belly band on him. He marks at others homes has been less and less...but i still feel safer if he's wearing a belly band. My nephew was playing with a ball one day..and Pasquale wanted it...and my nephew wouldnt give it to him. So Pasquale went over to his own toy ball and marked it JUST so my nephew would know it was his LoL. Boys will be boys. Now the rule is..if we go somewhere other than home thats indoors..he wears a belly band.
