| Anyone try Peticure or Peti-Paws? I fell for the commericals and ordered a Peticure Petit. maybe it was the clever name, I don't know. But when I got it, I turned it on, and thought hmmm, that's pretty loud. I tried it on Uni, and couldn't even get one nail. It looked like it rotated too fast, the file was too rough. One try I could tell she hated it, and i didn't want to force her. They have a money back guarantee, so I called for an RA# and sent it back it. I didn't get a refund until more than six months later! If they just decided not to credit me, i would have be out of luck with my credit card company (most have a 6 month period of when you can file a despute). It cost $39.99 plus $9.99 shipping. That's cheap for a Dremmel (which is what it is), but awfully expensive for a torture device for your baby. What do you all think? Oh by the way, now when I watch the commercials, i can totally tell the thing's not even on when they filmed it.

Donating YT Addict | I use the pedi paws and it works great but this is what i do. I cut Tyke's nails with the clippers I have then I take the guard off the pedi paws and use it to file his nails so they aren't sharp after they are cut. Kinda like we would file our fingernails to make them smooth. this works better because I don't have to sit there and count no more than 5 seconds on each nail. I give him treats while I'm doing this and it works for me. Mine isn't very loud at all. I bought the pedi paws at Bed Bath & Beyond. It sold for 20.00, but I had a 5.00 off coupon so I got it for 15.00. sorry you've had so many problems.

| I do own a pedicure petite, I use it once a week on the babies! After about 2 months of working with them they are fine with it. Ours is not very loud. When I started I would just turn it on and lay it next to them for them to go check it out themselves. Then I would do 1 paw and give treats. I had to be very consistent, and I love it!!!

| I've tried the pedi-paw and it was good for Stormy. I cut her nails and then used this to file them. I think next time we will just file them down because I have cut a couple nails too short twice now and I felt so horrible!! |

| I use the pedicure petit and it works perfect for us. It's not loud at all and even Maggie who never lets anybody near her paws sits still... |

| I use the pedicure petite and my girl doesn't mind it at all...When I first got it I let her check it out on the sofa, then after a day or two I turned it on and let her once again check it out. Then I tried holding it onto her nails pretending I was using it (it wasn't turned on) Then came the big test, actually turning it on and trying to do her nails. I only did one nail the first time and then gradually worked up to a whole foot, then two feet, then three, then all four. She had gradually grown acustomed to it and knows that it isn't going to harm her. Now when I bring it out to the sofa she will jump up and give me her paw so that I can manicure it

| i like the peti-paws...but it is hard to use..but sometimes i cant take my Bella into the groomers, so I use it in the mean time...lots of treats and we make it through...i have to learn how to cut her nails...i'm so scared to use the nail clippers... Bella's nails still touch the floor...mostly on the front paws..even after i take her to the groomers..so how do I know when I get to the right spot? I try looking for the black dot when i'm filing, but that's hard to see... any other suggestions? |
