| I just need to ask you something, when you moved were the rugs in your new home steamed cleaned?? I recently had my rugs professionally cleaned , prior to this my dog never missed the pee pee pad, once I had my rugs cleaned she began to pee everywhere, I later found out that the cleaning product had amonia in it and it is the same sent as the pee pads and used as an attractent.. Just a thought If that is the case I had to go buy natures miracle and spray every area that was steamed cleaned 2 times , open the windows and get out of the house.

| I have tile floors, Ive tried 3 different types of wee-wee pads, I have sprays that are suppose to "attract" her sprays that are suppose to "deter" her Sprays that are suppose to "Neutralize" her scent ... all of which have not done a darned thing ... I have area rugs she doesn't pee on them ... guess thats one step ...

| I have a regular sized Pet Loo.... One of the girls took to it immediately and used it consistently, the other doesn't like to jump on things so she refused to go on it, and my male has always just preferred to go outside. Since Lilly wouldn't go on it and only like the pads (I use washables) and Susie would use either, I decided not to use it any more and just stuck with the pads. I did like it though. I purchased an extra grass for it right away so I'd have a clean one to use while the other one was being washed/dried. It was easy enough to keep clean and if I noticed any odor, it wasn't anything worse than what I'd sometimes notice with the pads. If she's suddenly having all kinds of accidents, I might take her and a urine sample to the vet just to rule out any kind of urinary issue that might be the cause. Could be possible that she just can't help it.... If everything comes back clear and it's not a medical issue, you may just have to start back to square one like she's a brand new puppy. A new house means new rules and she might just not know what to do yet.... |
