| "frontline" that ebay sells I was looking for frontline on ebay & came across these ads about EPA approved frontline that come in a tube with the viral. Its alot cheaper than the "real" frontline. I was wondering has anyone ever used this? Is this actually safe? I dont want to put anything on my babies that will maybe give them a skin infection or worse. I have put small doses of the frontline on them & they are all ok. PLEASE any advice will help. I just need to put them on something as the weather in Miami is getting worse! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have seen this before on Ebay. If you're comfortable with dividing the dosage yourself then I would buy it. His packaging is just a large dose vial, that you have to divide by syringing enough for your dog weight category. I've actually done this with a large vial and divided it between my son's large dogs, a lab and a boxer. I've also bought flea meds from an overseas company and would again if I were to use flea meds. We've been concentrating on treating our yard and keeping the fleas gone that way, as I'm not real comfortable using chemicals on my yorkies

| No, it is not safe to buy flea control products from Ebay. It is actually illegal to sell them at the retail level now. There are many counterfeit flea control products on the market according to the EPA. Counterfeit Pesticide Products for Dogs and Cats | Pesticides | US EPA EPA orders retailers to stop sales of counterfeit flea and tick products for pets - April 1, 2004 The only way to guarantee you are getting the real thing is to buy from your vet or a reputable licensed online pharmacy. YT 2000 Club Member | Well Ive been buying off ebay that way for a few years now and ALL MY ANIMALS ARE FINE!! It is definitly the cheaper way to go. I have 7 animals that I use it on and they all do just fine. Everytime Ive gotten it off ebay its always been in the original frontline packaging. Ive never had any issues with not getting the "right stuff". My vet who uses mostly advantage products, gave me a few big tubes of it and told me how to divide it up between my animals. I stopped using advantage because it stopped working for my pets. This is certainly not a new occuring thing.

The ebay seller linked has over 6,000 feedback score with a 99.9% favorable rating. If the products weren't authentic, I don't believe he would be so successful.

| Frontline I buy all my frontline plus on ebay. I just make sure it's from the US (not foreign) & I buy the big size & use syringes to measure for the smaller quantities. It's never been a problem & a great money saver!

| I've used it for 2 years on both my dos and my cats without any problems. They've had no skin irritation at all either. They send you papers on how to dispense the medication. It is soo much cheaper and works just the same! I shower it to my Vet AND HE SAID IT WAS THE SAME THING AND WOULD SAVE ME A BUNDLE. i lOVE IT AND highly REOCOMMEND IT!!
