Thor's Human Donating Member | No Tears Shampoo with NO PERFUME I just gave Thor a bath with John Paul shampoo / conditioner and I want to ralph from the smell. Not that it's that unpleasant, but I have a sensitive nose and it is incredibly perfume-y. Can someone recommend a gentle shampoo with no perfumes? I was going to buy Chris Christensen (sp?) on amazon, but the shipping costs more than the product.

| Have you tried diluting it more? I haven't tried very many variety of shampoos yet, maybe 3 or 4 in all so far. But I find I really love Tropiclean's SPA line Fresh Bath Shampoo. I love the smell so much and it works well when I take the time to work it into her hair some before rinsing out. I use it along with their conditioner as well and plan to try out their facial scrub. I tried using Cloud Star Buddy Wash Lavender and Mint but couldn't like the smell as much and was thinking it caused my girl to itch a little but that might have been caused by something else. I still have most of the bottle left. It almost looks unused. The Tropiclean SPA Fresh Bath Shampoo (Vanilla and White Tea) reminds me of a sweet cigar or tobacco. I'm not sure that's such a good thing, LOL, but I'm not a smoker and I absolutely hate the smell of cigarettes, but I find this smell very sweet and addictive. Maybe it's the vanilla, or maybe it's the tea. I just love sniffing her afterwards and I do have a fairly sensitive nose as well. As for being "no tears" I have been using Johnson & Johnson's tearless (scentless?) baby shampoo on her head/face, but I've been meaning to switch that out since it might be drying her out especially during this winter season. No matter which one I use, diluting it seems to work best. |
